Honest review. I have no personal ties to this salon so this is an authentic review. I’ve been here about 4 times and each time, Georgia has done an outstanding job on my haircut and blonde highlights. I’ve lived in major cities in US and wasn’t sure where to go in Lakeway but I was extremely happy with the way Georgia colored and cut my long, natural blonde hair. It looks 100% natural, shiny and healthy and I can go long periods in between cuts/color because she does such a quality job. (No regrowth line at roots) It’s a challenge to find an excellent stylist who doesn’t dry out your hair! I recommend Georgia. She is also very nice to talk with and is the owner of the salon.

EXCEPTIONAL!!!! When I moved from the 4th largest city in the US to Lakeway, I was a bit concerned about finding a salon with experience and talent levels on par with the salons I was used to in the big city. I was “blown away” (pun intended, statement true) by the services I received at Strandz. I have had AMAZING experiences with Georgia, Loren, and Blake. Georgia truly goes out of her way to ensure the needs of the salon’s clients are met. She has helped me out on several occasions when I needed to come in last minute due to extenuating circumstances (i.e. family funeral, last minute travel changes). I have had services by Georgia, Loren, and Blake, and each one has been OUTSTANDING. It is very refreshing to find a salon where you can see one or the other of the stylists depending on scheduling etc. and there is no concern that any of them will be offended if you see a different stylist there. It’s very much a supportive team atmosphere. That was never my experience in the big city salons. My experiences at Strandz have actually not been “on par” with those at the big city salons; rather, my experiences at Strandz have FAR SURPASSED them! I cannot more highly recommend this salon. If you are looking for exceptional services, then look no further than Strandz!

If your like me and get stressed out worrying your hair is gonna get messed up every time you get it done, this is the place for you. Not only is the staff absolutely amazing to the point you feel ashamed of yourself for ever doubting them every time you leave looking top notch, but these girls know how to treat you right-whether your poison be import beer, or a mixed cocktail with sugar one the rim to match, this is truly my favorite place to get the full Deal hair package. The best!

I have very thick, curly, coarse hair. Blake did an AMAZING job cutting my hair! The worst thing about moving for me is finding a new stylist that is skilled enough to understand my Hawaiian hair. I had been through two really bad cuts at two different salons in the Austin area before finding Strandz Salon. I will return again and again to have Blake take care of my hair! I love my hair once again!

Bad costumer service. I received an OK haircut. Kendra was my hair stylist and she promised that if she didn’t cut as much as I wanted, I could come back within two days to get it cut again with no charge. I called within two days to try to come back in, but Strandz salon never got back to me. I had to call again afterwards to which they said “sorry you’re too late”. I wish the haircut had been good from the start or that at least they would have made good on their promise.
