Typically very pleased with this salons service but today I left very disappointed. Walked in with long hair to my low back, asked for a trim and layering by Megan and walked out with shoulder length hair. How that constitutes as a trim, I will never understand. Get your hair cut dry if you decide to come here for a trim.

I can never find a good eyebrow place. Got mine done from Megan a little while ago and she did great. They’re about 30 minutes from me and I’ve been trying to go back, i wouldnt let anyone else touch my eyebrows.

I am a huge fan of the ladies at Strands. I have had my hair and makeup done for two different weddings over the last few years, and they have done such an amazing job both times! Everyone is so friendly, and the inside of the salon is beautiful. I highly recommend them to anyone!!

That was until I used Hayley Markham at Strands. AMAZING!!!!!!! My color job is completely on point, great cut, super friendly, patient, and professional!!!!!! I have found my hair stylist forever. In addition, I LOVE this salon. It’s one of those places in which you feel at home. Very clean, great pricing, friendly staff, and very refreshing to meet an owner who’s so professional and hands on with her business. Elle has gained a long term client for sure. I have used multiple hair stylists over the years and have not found a stylist that has left an impression or really overwhelmed me. That was until I used Hayley Markham at Strands. AMAZING!!!!!!! My color job is completely on point, great cut, super friendly, patient, and professional!!!!!! I have found my hair stylist forever. In addition, I LOVE this salon. My daughter and I went to Strands for the first time and got haircuts from Megan. She did a great job and we are so pleased. She was so nice and we will definetly be returning customers from now on. Strands was very clean, the staff was so nice, and the prices are very reasonable. Overall great experience!

This is the TOP salon in all of Lincoln County and probably more… the stylists are incredible and super friendly. They also have a full spa on the lower level. We love the owner and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my cuts! Book an appointment now! You know you need it and I know you’ll love it!

Unfortunately I would NOT recommend doing business here any longer. I have tried to work things out with the owner Elle but she is difficult to deal with. I purchased a gift card several months ago for a specific stylist that is no longer at the salon. When I called to ask what could be done with my gift card I was turned away and told my stylist had the money for the gift card that strands would no longer honor it. I purchased this gift card at the front desk not with my stylist. My gift card is not expired. My stylist had to reach out to Elle because she did NOT get my gift card money. Elle then agrees to let me use my gift card in the spa. A spa that I did NOT purchase a gift card for. Elle refused to let me use the card for product that I had to use the spa. (I did not ask to see another stylist I think most can agree when you find your stylist you trust you keep them) Most of the services in the Spa do not interest me or are way more then my gift card. So I decided to do the unlimited tanning. After purchasing I find out from the sign on the spa door hours are very limited (I purchased my tanning package upstairs in the salon so I did not see this) My first trip in no one was in the spa so I had to go to the salon to get them to open the spa. Today I go and no one is there upstairs or down. I was told the spa would be open 9-4 today when I asked Friday. So now I have wasted my time and gas and won’t be able to tan for 3 days. This doesn’t sound like unlimited tanning to me? I do not think this situation was handled correctly from the start and seems to be getting worse. I feel like my money has been stolen. I will say all of the stylists and staff have been friendly and helpful but I will never do business with Elle again. Elle I do hope you will make this right. I do plan on reporting you to the BBB on Monday.

I would not recommend going to this salon. Elle the owner has bad business sense/skills and will try to cheat anyone out of their money. Last September I was getting married and I had booked my appointment thorough the Salon with a specific Hair Stylist. I did however book my makeup with Elle herself, when I went in for my hair and makeup trial, Elle did not listen to anything I said, how I wanted my makeup done or how I wanted to look. She did her own thing and I was not happy with the results. I then changed my makeup artist to the same person who was doing my hair and loved the outcome so much better. However when I changed makeup artist Elle gave my hair stylist the “cold shoulder” because she had taken a client away from her (which was not the case I choose the leave on my own will because Elle just ignored what I wanted). During all of this my hair stylist had enough of what Elle was doing to her and left to go somewhere else. I followed my hair stylist.

My Stylist there moved away a year ago. I was afraid to convert to a new one… but a year… I had to, my hair was a mess! Upscale place, chose whomever had an oppointment opening. Then sweet, kind, very professional little Joanna saved my hair. I got the very best hair cut, color, highlights and deep conditioning I have ever had, by far, honestly. I trusted in her and she hooked me up. Don’t be afraid of her her age, she’s young, but she’s a miracle worker. A little more expensive but worth it. Ladies, you get what you pay for!
