Maybe she is better with women’s hair but The young girl that cut my hair was not experienced. Never had someone scissor cut my hair while it was dry and she sprayed what seemed to be hair spray on my hair before cutting it. Made it very unpleasant because the hair was dry and stiff. When you don’t wet men’s hair before scissor cutting, you can’t tell what is even or not. Many missed hairs especially the top front, very uneven. Plus I’ve been to many professional salons where they take their time washing and conditioning your hair, but not this stylist.

I was introduced to Peyton from a friend. I am super particular and will go for months until I find a good stylist. This girl is the best!!! She is professional, and keeps up with trends. I have curly hair and she was able to cut it properly so I wasn’t left with odd layers. Even the products afterwards she understood what works with my hair type. I just can’t say enough. I brought my daughter in later to make a dramatic cut and she knocked that out of the park too! Thanks again Peyton! See you soon!

Alright ladies!!! This is the place to go if you want excellent service when it come to your hair!!! I had my hair cut there about a month ago and set up an appointment to have my hair colored. The hair coloring was today and I am tickled pink with it!!! Shawndee did a wonderful job! She also knows how to wash hair like a master!!! I highly recommend The Strand!!!!

Procrastination paid off in finding this place. I had a trip and needed my ends trimmed and gave this place a shot and I’m so glad I did! Payton was WONDERFUL. I’ll plan to see her next though instead of crossing my fingers that they have a spot open.

Angela did a great job! Salon is clean and the atmosphere is calming. Definately recommend them. Update: 5/5/2022. Went back while here on vacation. She really is the best. Angela did a fantastic job yet again.

Everyone there is sooooo nice and helpful. I’m terrible at explaining what I want to do with my hair but Avery understood perfectly and did an AMAZING JOB!
