As of three years ago, I am a loyal customer to Storrs, Therapeutic. Every experience here is positive. When you vocalize, the masseuse delivers. I have chronic back pain, and spasms. These services help more than the muscle relaxants I’m prescribed. I highly recommend if you need relief. Or relaxation. They deliver!

This was not the relaxing massage experience I was looking for. It feels like walking into your grandma’s house, which I wouldn’t knock on its own. Not my vibe, but I get why people describe it as cozy. As I walked toward the bathroom and massage room I was overwhelmed by the smell of fried chicken that my masseuse had been eating in the back room. I understand you have to eat, but there were no relaxing spa scents going, just full on chicken. Then you get to the massage table which is covered with a children’s flannel sheet. Again, I wouldn’t knock it on this alone, but it just felt unprofessional overall. My massage therapist was very nice but spoke to me the entire time and I left feeling more exhausted than when I came, and not in the relaxed I could fall asleep way, but in a drained way.

Melanie truly cares for her clients and goes above and beyond to create a warm, welcoming space that makes you feel right at home. she tailors sessions to your specific needs and gives amazing massages. i’ve seen her for a couple months now, and she has already helped relieve some of my lifelong chronic neck pain. by far the best massage place i’ve been to (and i’ve tried A LOT).

What a pleasure it is here at Storrs Therapeutic Massage! You are instantly at ease when you enter, greeted by beautiful and calming decor. The positive energy and vibes radiate from Melanie. She is very friendly and professional, and did wonders when it came to alleviating my stress and anxiety. The room was cozy, the perfect lighting and temperature to feel instantly relaxed.
