I work just down the street and have driven by Still Magnolias salon at least 1000 times….seriously! For many years I cut my own hair….pixie cut……I finally decided to try something new and let my hair grow out and learn how to deal with my super curly hair. I needed a fresh cut before I started the grow out process and visited the salon for my first time!! Savannah sat me down in her chair and the process began!! She has helped me understand how to use product on my curls. She has taught me how to care for my hair. I love my curls now and she has been a big part of that process. I always LOVE seeing her bright beautiful smile along with ALL the ladies there! The salon is beautiful and classy. She is always attentive to whatever my request is! She always has me double check the length since we’re only doing short trims while growing out. Her main concern is always that she’s done what I need her to do. I’m so lucky to have found her….cannot believe she’s been in NRH all these years!! Great lady and super salon!! I’m still growing out these curls….she’ll be my number one fan through the whole process!!!

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityI’ve had highlights and contrasting hair color for over 30 yrs but during covid lockdowns (and a layoff) I cut my hair shoulder length (about 5” shorter) and the color off with it. A year later I “thought” I had embraced my natural (much darker) hair color until my first one-way video interview. I practiced recordings and felt so old and frumpy watching my playbacks. Who wants to interview not feeling your best?!In a panic I called 5 salons for highlights only and felt the “oh” no cut or style, we’re booked until next week. Ugh!! And don’t think it was my imagination, I could hear the eye roll through the phone :(While I had read reviews Still Magnolias was pricey, I was desperate and time was ticking to do my interview. I called and explained the situation and without hesitation they got me in!I must say, everyone was so nice and welcoming! Loved the stylist I was paired with, Maddilynn, and appreciated her not making me feel awkward for cutting/layering my own hair the past year. She listened to my hair history and went to work highlighting my hair. It came out great! Got home, defused, and felt a million times better. Worth every penny! I’ve had highlights and contrasting hair color for over 30 yrs but during covid lockdowns (and a layoff) I cut my hair shoulder length (about 5” shorter) and the color off with it.
