I booked an appointment for a full highlight and cut. Was initially told I couldn’t get in for 6 weeks, but later contacted and informed that they had an opening a few weeks sooner. So it didn’t take more than a few minutes to realize that I was one of three clients, all booked at the same time. I showed the stylist photos of what I wanted, but instead he chose to do a bleach and tone, destroyed my hair and overcharged by $50. After the bleach and tone, I had to ask if he was still going to cut my hair, to which he quickly put a few cuts in and called it hood. My hair looked like I was an 90 year old white haired lady. I asked if he was going to put lowlights in to balance all the white. I had my hair done for an upcoming, once in a lifetime international month long vacation, so I was pretty disappointed when the stylist told me that I could get low-lights later, sometime in November. I have no idea why I tipped him after this horrendous experience. I called back two days later up ask him to fix it, bug he couldn’t get me in for another week, so I had to go somewhere else and pay another $140. So, now I am in it for $350 and my hair is destroyed. When the initial stylist (Mitch) called back to give me a time to come in for repair and I told him I couldn’t wait that long and had to go elsewhere, he should have reimbursed at least the amount it cost to try to repair the mess he made. Because my hair is so damaged, I have another appointment next week to cut it all off. I’ll be in for another $90 for a Malibu treatment and cut, totaling $470 for destroying my hair. As far as the studio, the stylist told me to purchase a $30 Aveda product to fix my hair, but the product did nothing. When I tried to return it, the salon refused as it was over the 7 day rule. Nowhere did I ever see a 7 day rule, but apparently it is written somewhere. Bottom line: stay FAR FAR away from this salon. They are horrible.

This is a review concerning the shop’s manager, Shannon- NOT the stylists. I came in to purchase a bottle of hair spray a week ago. Have used it only twice and realized that I would need the stronger hold version. Came in yesterday AND today and was NOT allowed to exchange the bottle, despite having my receipt. Yesterday was told the manager needed to do the exchange because, per a receptionist, ‘People might try to add things in to the bottle… and only the manager has the codes to enter…’ HUH? Made NO sense, but was told the manager would be in today from 9am – 5pm. This was irritating but fine. I made a second trip to the shop today at 3pm. Doors were locked (at 3pm??) and I was told that the manager was not there. The gentleman I spoke with said he’d have to call the manager, Shannon to ask about the exchange. He did, and she flatly refused to allow the employee to do so. He handed the phone to me. Manager Shannon was extremely short and rude during our very brief call, telling me something about “I’d have to sell it to you for cost and be out the cost of two products…” I really didn’t understand what she was trying to say, expressed that, and started to ask “Could you please…” and was going to ask for clarification, and she simply cut me off and said, “NOPE. I CAN’T HELP YOU. YOU’LL JUST HAVE TO COME BACK MONDAY.” Right. A customer with a basically full bottle of product WITH a receipt to exchange (not refund) for same product with another strength to come back THREE TIMES to exchange said item?? I don’t think so. And why would the cost, etc., be my issue at all? You either stand behind the products you sell, or you don’t. Obviously she had NO time for me and no desire to help me understand why in the world a simple exchange of a nearly full bottle of hair spray for a customer with the receipt would be such an ordeal. I’ve exchanged professional hair products at several salons and shops in town and NEVER a problem or been treated so rudely. I feel badly for the employees of this salon that have to work under such a rude, unreasonable person who clearly cares nothing about customer experience.

I am writing a review for Mike. My husband just got back from a haircut. I can’t tell you how happy he is. Mike worked with him to change his style. Basically update it and make it more trendy. Looks awesome! I think its hard for guys to sometimes find someone who can give a good haircut. I definitely notice a difference between how Mike styled his hair and his last salon he went to. I know my husband will for sure be seeing Mike on a regular basis. Great job!!!!!

I am a student at the University of St. Thomas and first came to Euphoria a few weeks into freshman year after receiving a coupon. I thought it was going to be like any other haircut experience where you just get in and get out without much conversation, but my experience far exceeded those expectations. Stevie, the owner of the shop, was the one who cut my hair the first time and right away I knew he really cared about his customers. I thought for sure it would be awkward the first time, but it was the complete opposite. Stevie truly takes his time and will cut your hair specifically to what you desire. I have been going to Stevie since last year and I’m from an hour away originally and even this past summer I would drive up because he does far better than anyone I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend Stevie to any man out there who wants a great cut for an affordable price!
