Hi! I am Stevi D! Sole owner of Hair Elite, LLC. I am is currently working as an Independent stylist inside Pure Pleasure 2 Salon. I believe that every new person I touch is the beginning of a relationship that is far beyond styling hair. I am known mostly for expertise in Brazilian blowouts. However I take pride in making hair healthy and stylish with cuts, colors and treatments! Every client here is unique and therefore I believe consulting with the client is the key to achieving great success and the desired style. I am also known for my respect for your time. My first visit was ok I guess, I did a Brazilian blowout actually I was convinced to do it. I needs something done with my hair but, previously I had a perm. Came out of their my hair looks so, nice however, it starts to fall out real bad they call it the shedding season. I don’t think so,, I’ll ever go back to this salon.

I love this place of beauty!! I’ve been getting my hair done from Stevie for over 10 years. I went to Stevie because the lady I was previously going to would have me book an appointment for 9a and wouldn’t finish me until like 1 or 2p. It frustrated me to be in a shop for most of my morning so I started looking for another place. A friend recommended Stevie to me. I was a bit cautious with scheduling my appointment so I allowed 4 hours for my time with her. Thanks be to God that I was only there for 1 1/2 hours for my press and curl. I was amazed and have been going to her ever since. I’ve never met a hair stylist that cares for your hair and how you look before walking out of the shop. She doesn’t triple book and she meets your needs for a great hair day, week or even 2 weeks. (Depending on your needs) I would definitely recommend Hair Elite to anyone who wants to be taken care of. The whole team is great and have great customer service.

Stevi D is a professional stylist par excellence! She focuses on you and your hair’s needs. She uses products that are healthy for your hair and when I request a trim I don’t look like I’ve had a hair cut not a trim. I never spend hours in the salon waiting my turn either. With the help of her assistant, I’m given wash and conditioner when I arrive at my appointed time. I respect their time, so she respects mines! I love Stevi D. We are a four generation family with her (my mother was, myself, my daughter and my granddaughters). I believe in being loyal to those deserving of my business! I highly recommend her!

Stevi is an incredible healthy hair stylist. She is professional, kind and knows anything there is to know about hair maintenance, recovery, cutting and styling. She’s honest, cares about her clients and doesn’t try to upsell treatments that don’t work. If she tells you something will help the specific condition of your hair it will make a difference or at least that has been my experience 100 percent of the time. I typically go between protective styles and my natural hair and sometimes take long breaks in seeing her but each and every time I return I’m reminded of why she is so much better than any stylist I’ve gone to in the many many years I’ve been getting my hair done. She is truly the best in the business.

Stevi has the best “bedside manner” of any stylist I have ever had. She’s very good at asking you questions to make sure you get the service you came in for and also talking you through her process (how are you doing?, this will stay on for x minutes and then I’ll rinse, I’m going to rinse with cold water, etc). Didn’t scratch my scalp with her nails when she was giving me a massage/shampooing. Was on time and didn’t double book over my appointment time to where it extended my time in the salon. Was very nice but not too chatty (which was great because I often spend salon time reading or studying). Loved how my hair turned out!

Finally a salon who knows how to do all types of hair! I live an hour away from this beauty salon but have no problem traveling because of their expertise with hair. My hair type is thick kinky Afro and whew I have a lot of hair. And because of my unruly hair for years I only wore braids. Recently I wanted to give my hair a break so researched Brazilian blowout. I am a nursing new mom to a 7 month old. I went for a leap of hair faith and decided to do the Brazilian blowout with Stevie “guru of hair”. My hair type was the toughest hair yet for the salon but I left looking fierce with shiny, healthy shoulder length hair. BTW everyone in the salon is professional and kind. I am a new fan of Brazilian blowout because now I can do my own hair and it takes less than half the time now to blow dry and straighten my hair. And less time for a new mom is gold!
