It is rare that I give anything 5 stars because I always feel that there is Room for improvement. But in the case of Steve’s it’s a place I enjoy going to get something done that I really don’t want to get done. Steve seems to be a good guy, his prices are fair, I rarely have I ever had a long wait. But when I have had to wait there has always been pleasant conversation with other customers. Give Steve a try his on the corner of Como Park Boulevard and Aurora street in Lancaster.

Been getting my hair cut here for the past few months. Steve is a good dude who does a great job. The price is right and you don’t need an appointment which is clutch. I would highly recommend going here for a cut. Cash only though so make sure you have some on you when you go.

I had a bad feeling about Stevens skills as a barber as soon as I walked in. He looked like he had just rolled out of bed after a late night bender and two hours sleep. His clothes looked like he had slept in them and his hair was a mess. Maybe it’s just me but if you are a barber and own your own shop, or any small business owner for that matter, you may want to actually care about how you appear to your customers. The shop itself was clean, I’ll give him that.

The males in my home won’t go anywhere else. My teen boys will ride their bike and get their haircuts. He’s never disappointed them or me. The price is right too. Only thing I want to make others aware of is that this is done by his home so therefore the parking is tight and you may have to park on the side of the road.

Rarely do you find a barber shop that will give you a fade with no lines or imperfections. I walked into Steven’s with a full head of hair, I mean A LOT of hair. I also normally (not lately because I’ve been on holiday leave from the military) get my haircut every two weeks, so I know the difference between a good barber and a bad barber, and I’ve had my fair share of bad barbers. Steve gave me a flawless haircut, edged my beard, and straight razor cut unwanted hairs on my neck all for $16. When I am back in the buffalo area. I will be going to stevens barber shop. Thank you for a job well done.

My girlfriend is a hair dresser she was opening up her own place and was super busy my hair was out of control, I like it tight on the sides. We started fighting with this extra pressure of the new buisness and she tried to hold this future haircut over me me. I was like f this I’m going to get it cut, I know bold move. I’m not from Lancaster but she lives in the Village and I’m there all the time. Everytime we drove by Stevens she would say that it was so cool that lived there. Another day passes I got up the nerve and decided I’m getting a cut and I walked to this place. Walk in, one other guy before me. Didn’t wait long at all but as I sat there I was thinking it is really cool that it’s his home and this Barber shop sustains it. We all have to support small business owners, stay out of the chains. When my girlfriend saw me she smiled and said where did you go. I told her she said I’m sorry. She then looked at me and said looks good little shorter than I would have cut it and we smiled. I like it a little shorter 🙂 I’m excited I found someone I can be like oh yah what you’re not gonna cut my hair I’ll go to Stevens.

Apparently it closes earlier than 5 I wasn’t able to use the business because of this so I’m only three starting instead of a better or worse review since closing times do not indicate cut quality

I was very happy with the cut he gave my 9 year old and I. He’s patient with kids(my last barber before him wasn’t as much so). We live right down the street which is a bonus. We’ll certainly be back.
