I got four big braids and I do mean (four big braids) and this lady charged me $60 when it cost $10 per braid she waited until she was done my hair to hit me with the price and the other lady did a face because she knew it was too much money for that style I didn’t say anything because I figured she needed that money more then I did. I wish I could give them zero stars. And the conversations they were having was inappropriate.

I got the crochet braids I wanted. Once Solange started to add the crochet hair in she seemed confused and had to get assistance from her friend Debra who had left the shop. We waited for Debra and she completed my style. I liked the style. Fast forward 30 days later I go into the shop to make an appointment…Solonge tell me to write my phone number in her appt book and she would call me. I never received a call…so I texted her and never received a call or text back. I would think with her shop being new, she would call customers back. If there are styles she doesn’t know how to do, she should let the customers know. She don’t have a book with styles. This whole interaction or lack of communication was weird. I’ll never book there again. By the way I ended up paying her extra because Debra had to come back to the salon and sew the hair in the top. I’ve never had crochet braids that had to be sewed. The least she could have done was call me and let me know something so I could have booked an appointment somewhere else.

Critical: ProfessionalismI kid you not guys, this is my personal experience: the first time I went to this business I asked the woman who was doing someone’s hair if she did flat twist to which she said “no”. Next I asked did she even know what they are to which she again responded “no”. Then I proceeded to show a picture and finally she replies “no”. I thought this was painfully unprofessional. After this odd exchange I vowed never to try to patronize this place again; but a few months later out of pure convenience (this place is walking distance from my house) I went back optimistically. It was a Monday morning around 9am and I walked in to an empty shop, the woman came from out of the back and I said good morning. She looked at me like I had something on my face, I asked could she braid my hair and she said “I have a client, it will take me 7 hours to do their hair.” These statements are all true guys. If you want to check this place out just don’t be surprised if you get funny style treatment here. The shop woman doesn’t really speak all that good English and maybe that plays a role but… anyway I’ll find another business more professional to do my hair.I kid you not guys, this is my personal experience: the first time I went to this business I asked the woman who was doing someone’s hair if she did flat twist to which she said “no”. By far Solange (owner) is the best braider in town!!! She’s very punctual and dependable. Her shop is neat and clean (immaculate). My daughter and I have been her clients for over 2 years; and have never been disappointed. She’s absolutely professional and a perfectionist
