Fade was $35, which is only a negative because: haircut was poorly done with sections of hair not faded properly as you can see in photo, and because the whole thing took a very long time (~50 mins in the chair and an hour wait before that). I would recommend going somewhere else.

First off let me say I can’t give enough stars! I damaged my hair and I more or less don’t like to let anyone cut or dye my hair. After some heavy damage I had no choice but to start new. I called the shop and was answered by a very understanding response after explaining what I did.

I extended my search to Absecon and Pleasantville and I was pleasantly surprised to discover this local clip joint. I made my appointment over the phone and they told me to ask for Ice when I arrived. He was friendly as everyone else was in the establishment and I felt very comfortable from the moment I stepped in the door. The haircut I received was above par and Ice guaranteed I would pull in all the women. I said that’s great , just don’t tell my wife. Lol. I wholeheartedly recommend Ice and the rest of the crew. Starting Five Barbershop has plenty of sufficient parking near the entrance and a very secure clean environment outside. Upon entering the first thing I noticed, was it’s clean pleasant smell, along with the uniformity of the interior decor and the Barbers appearance. The atmosphere was very calm and professional which immediately caught my attention and put me at ease. The Owner was very professional and articulate. There is an upstairs and downstairs with a beauty salon in the rear of the property, with a door for privacy, if need be for women. I highly recommend if you are in the area and need a guaranteed precision cut or creative hairstyle, please visit Starting Five Barbershop you will not reget it.

I called to check if they were busy. Guy said yes but come over anyway and just wait my turn. I get there and am told that they only do appointments. Lame stuff. For the birds. Walked down to K.O.B. and they took me in and gave me a super fresh cut.
