Alice did an amazing job fixing my poor butchered hair after a my previous stylist’s work (at another salon) left me in tears. I’ve just had my second cut from Alice, and I’m absolutely thrilled with my new ‘do! I no longer have to settle for just trying to mask a bad cut. I’m baaa-aack! My hair is healthy, cut to swing and move. It’s pretty and classic, but also edgy and modern. Alice genuinely listened to me, and she asked informed questions when she needed clarification, instead of assuming she just knew what I wanted. The results truly exceeded my expectations. Starr House has a lovely, warm vibe overall. It’s clean and comfy. Parking is easy and prices are reasonable. The products/back bar are top notch. Karen is such a cool person and makes me feel so welcome with each interaction. Oh, and the sangria was fabulous! I’m a huge fan and can’t wait to try ALL of their services!

I made an appointment with the owner Karen and confirmed the price for my regular gray hair covering. She told me the price as before is $65. Today ,just two days after when the job done. I gave her $100 .cash. But she only gave me $30 back. I asked her “do you suppose give me back$35? ” She said to me “I raise the pice. ” I told her “I just talk to you 2 days before ” She didn’t aresponse to me and just kept my $100 and left $30 on the counter. I never had this kind experience before.
