I moved up here 7 yrs ago and I’ve always made the drive back to Gwinnett to go to my stylist but I was in a jam last week and couldn’t. I looked online and thankfully found Starlight Salon and I am in love!! I will never make that drive again. Miriam and her husband David are amazing!! I got my haircut and my girls as well and it is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Starlight Salon!! ❤️

Miriam has 20 plus years of hair cutting experience. She patiently listened to my concerns, answered my questions like an expert, and gave me the bob I wanted. I gave her my trust and I felt very comfortable with her cutting my hair. David is very knowledgeable and understands the multiple factors that affects a haircut. They exceeded my expectations. I’ve bounced around from salon to salon for more years than I can remember because I never found a stylist like Miriam. Honestly, I’ve never been this happy or satisfied with a stylist. She took the time to talk to me and find out what I wanted and what I was trying to accomplish. Then she told me what my options were and educated me on the pros and cons of each option. I went with her suggestion and my color choice out of her suggested range. I’m thrilled with the outcome. I love my hair. Now for the best part… the entire experience was so relaxing I had to fight falling asleep…. scalp massage, invigorating tea tree oil shampoo… I got chilly so this awesome lady runs off and comes back with a space heater and puts it in front of me. The salon itself is in an older home that is very lovely, the colors are wonderful, the decor was perfect – very charming. The salon chairs and shampoo chairs were not your run of the mill salon equipment, total upgrades on those. She even has a little pillow in the sink of the shampoo chair to rest your head on. There’s more but I’ll refrain from a complete listing as this review is long enough already. All in all Miriam is a wonderful stylist but it’s her personality and all those little extras that make Starlight so great, she really goes the extra mile for her customers. I’ll not go anywhere else now… unless Miriam moves her salon.
