She’s insanely experienced technically, and the passion she has in her craft shines through as she works. She’s also the kindest human and I always leave my appointment glowing because of my hair and the positive energy she exudes.I am low maintenance with my hair and would always get the standard layered cut on my thick black hair – super boring. Then I found Star who recommended caramel highlights and removing weight off my hair, and I went for it given the instant trust we built. Oh my gosh that cut and color changed my life. I received SO many compliments on my hair and thought I had been to the beach, my highlights were that natural. I’ve followed Star to three locations since and will not let anyone else touch my hair but her.
