I had high expectations based off of the referrals I received but was not expecting to be there for so long for a wash, deep condition, style and trim (where majority of the time was me just sitting and waiting). Now I do want to point out that I have long hair but I can’t even blame the length of my hair on why it took so long. I scheduled a 10:30am appt a few weeks in advance thinking I would be in there 2 hours max (based off of the time I’ve spent in different salons in the past). Upon my arrival there was a wait which I understand can happen. However I had to wait until 11am to begin my service. The assistant who shampooed and conditioned me was very nice and was apologetic for the wait. Her portion of the service was great. When I finally made it into the stylist’s chair she stopped working on me to apply color onto another client who arrived 2 hours after me. By the time she finished flat ironing my hair (at 1:45pm) I couldn’t wait any longer for a trim and to be styled so I had to leave as is. When I told her I would need to pass on the trim and style, she replied by saying I should of told her earlier that I needed to be out by a certain time. I really didn’t think in 2022 we would still be spending majority of our time waiting in a salon to be serviced especially since I ended up paying $130 and I didn’t even get a trim, style or color.

Critical: ValueI received a silk press by Adrienne and her team at the hair lounge. The place is so beautiful and really clean. I felt like COVID restrictions were well followed. That being said, I received the worst trim and silk press of my life. My side bangs were cut bluntly and did not flow well with the rest of my hair, as they should have been layered at the very least so I wouldn’t look like I have a mullet. She did not even ask me how much I wanted trimmed or how I wanted my bangs cut. On top of that, I ended up with heat damage all throughout my hair, in the middle of my strands, meaning I had to essentially big chop.
