I absolutely love 5 Star! I started having them do my manicures and pedicures (sometimes full sets) about 6-7 years ago. They do such a great job! My nails always look fantastic and my feet and legs feel amazing after my pedicures. I usually get the signature pedicure because I like to get the works done on my feet and legs since I am always on my feet at work. Julie is so sweet and does a fantastic job! Over the years I’ve been going there, I’ve only had an issue with my nails twice – once I didn’t like the way one of my nails looked before I left and Julie was quick to fix it, and the other time I broke a nail 2 days after getting them done, a day before a special occasion and they got me all fixed up that same day and on my way. I moved to Arlington from Crowley 5.5 years ago, and continued driving to Crowley. I tried a couple of other mail salons closer to where I lived, but they were way overpriced, but most importantly, I wasn’t happy with how my nails turned out. They didn’t provide the amazing leg massages, or any of the little extras that 5 Star offers. I recently moved to Saginaw, and I still drive to Crowley to get my manis and pedis. Their prices are definitely comparable to other mail salons, but the services they provide are so much better, as well as their customer service!

I got a mani-pedi today and it came out awful. They didn’t go to my nail beds, the sides are not painted and I’m so disappointed. The polish doesn’t look even, it’s not smooth. Nothing like what I wanted.

First, they get points just for being open on Sundays!!! I found this place via a Google search after another salon had failed to even open when I had an appointment. I got just a basic mani/pedi with the gel polish. Both people who did my mani/pedi were great and took their time! Also the gentleman who did my gel polish really paid attention to every detail and I left happy. Will most likely give them another try since they are open Sundays and are only a 30 min drive away!
