I will not be going back to Stars. Each time I go the service gets a little worse. I went today and it will be my last time. The pedicure was fine but then I waited an insane amount of time for the manicure. Then once it was my turn, they rushed right through it. I had to ask him to fix a few mistakes and each time the excuse was “nails too short” or “nails too narrow”. He couldn’t just slow down and take his time. I asked for the manicure, he brought over water, I put my nails in, and then immediately he took my nails out and started cutting cuticles… like what was the point of the water then? Just really disappointed especially when I’ve been a loyal customer for years.

Worst nail salon ever. I was a regular until they absolutely destroyed my nails for my wedding. On top of that, they made me wait 2+ hours when I had an appointment scheduled. They did great work but an appointment here means nothing. We booked appointments at 5:45 and were not seen till 6:30. We did not get to get our nails done together either, it was one after the other so we were not done till 8. I understand that they were busy with walk ins but if I book an appointment ahead of time I would appreciate more communication in how long I will wait.

Critical: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismMy fill turned out pretty good, a little streaky but I’m not unhappy with it.. But my tech… she didn’t follow any bloodbourne pathogen policy at all. Equipment malfunctions happen and I understand that but she accidentally turned the nail file on the wrong direction and it slipped off of my nail and filed off some of my skin and it pulled the tip of her nail off of her finger and we were both bleeding… things happen so I wasn’t bugged by that but when I said “oh you’re bleeding too! I’m fine if you want to go clean that up!” She just decided to continue with my nails while we were both bleeding! That’s so unprofessional and unsafe.
