I’ve been to several nail salons since moving to NP a few years ago. Star on Bellvue is the best. Reasonable prices, knowledgeable staff who ask you if you like something before they proceed. I have been more than once and they did a good job. Most of the staff are not very friendly though. They didn’t greet me upon entering and one of the ladies ignored me completely when I tried to talk to her. She didn’t even acknowledge that I was standing in front of her trying to ask her a question. Customer service is not their forte. However, the three nail techs I had (one which has since stopped working there), Cindy, and a slim guy with a buzz cut were pretty friendly and kind to me.

I would have given at least four stars because my polish actually stayed on for more than one day. But because we were turned away for our tardy arrival from one location, we had to rearrange another appointment at another date. (We had gift certificates). And it would be nice if the technicians were a little more outgoing, rather than sitting behind their protective shield chatting with each other in Mandarine. With the difficulty that we have faced over a continual health crises, perhaps merchants should consider kindness and communication as part of their trade rather than pure lust for our money.

Went here for the first time in awhile because I received a giftcard and now I remember why I don’t go here anymore. They are so unfriendly and not professional. They do not even say hello or acknowledge you are a human the entire time. The nail polish here is very cheap and clear. I wouldn’t reccomend sadly. J Nails is much better Pedicure

Had a wonderful manicure and green tea pedicure! Salon was impeccably clean, menu of options from which to choose was great, staff was very polite and pleasant to be around. I found the polish selection to be great, as well. The service was very relaxing, not rushed at all, and my nails were exactly as I wanted. Would definitely recommend the salon to all. I think some folks leaving reviews need not take themselves so seriously.
