I went into Star Nails to get my nails done. I sat in the guys chair for 30 minutes before he came and sat down. I told him I wanted him to please put bigger tips on so that the tips covered the sides of my nails and I wanted white tips with regular polish not shellac. He said French manicure? I said yes. He said regular polish doesn’t last. I said, it works for me and that’s what I would like…white tips with regular polish. He said, I don’t understand it’s too hard can you just pick a solid color? I said what’s too hard, you have done them for me before. He said he didn’t remember could I have someone else do them. I told him again what I wanted. He got the tips out (not the white ones) and glued one UPSIDE-DOWN looked and me and said like this. I said, No! He said it’s too hard can someone else do for you? He cut the tip off and I said YES, I will go somewhere else and have them done.

Not at all what I asked for, I when I asked to get them fixed, they refused me and got angry at me for “complaining” about the poorly done job. When I told them the nails looked nothing like the reference picture, they told me that “they never said it would be done exactly like the picture”. The acrylic looks grown out, despite the fact that I got them done two days ago, that’s how far it was from my cuticle. I would give this business 0/5 stars if I could. Not at all what I asked for, I when I asked to get them fixed, they refused me and got angry at me for “complaining” about the poorly done job. I walked in respectfully and kindly, asked for them redone, amd they told me I had nothing to complain about. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME COMING TO THIS PLACE!!! First of all they are super rude, very disrespectful, and brute!! I went to get a full set of acrylics but some of my nails are very long and I don’t put tip on them because I like keep them long, they wanted to cut all my real nails and put tip on all of them just because they didn’t wanted to do the previous cleaning to remove the previous color and of course was easier for them cut them all and put tip on them and start over but I refused to do so, when I did the guy who I think his name is John or Jean (or something similar) ask me to leave his business and go somewhere else where I can get what I want! And of course I left AND I GOT WHAT I WANT!! These people treat as if they’re doing a favor to you, a charity, or for free!!! They don’t care what you want it have to be their way!! Hey if you don’t want to work dealing with people you choose the wrong job!!!! If for you this place is convenient for the location, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO GO TO M. VINCE NAILS SPA, THEY ARE THE BEST!! great customer service, great installation and most important knowledgeable and EDUCATED PEOPLE!!! They are right in front of H&M!! Good luck !!

Oh my gosh the Chameleon nails! You guys HAVE GOT to try them! With a fill the cost was $42. I’ve never loved my nails more. Star nails is super knowledgeable about their products and staying up to date with the latest trends.

This used to be a pretty okay place to go, not so much anymore. Everything is covered in nail dust. They increased the price of all of their services AND then have signs posted around the building that all services have an additional $5 surcharge. The owner couldn’t be bothered to stop watching Instagram to swipe my card. I will not come back.

If I could give zero stars I would. My nails looked horrible when I left and they refuse to give my money back and threatened to call police. They offered to fix them but I do not trust them to fix them. Never returning here ever again

Super friendly, clean and I also forgot my wallet so thankfully they helped charge my phone and they took my Apple Pay. I love this place! I had an hour to kill before dinner and they took great care of me and my nails came out amazing and I made it just in time for dinner. Super friendly, clean and I also forgot my wallet so thankfully they helped charge my phone and they took my Apple Pay.
