I will definitely be going back. The lady I had was really sweet! It’s right around the corner from where I work. The prices are really competitive (cheap) and they weren’t too busy when I went! Didn’t have to wait at all. It’s kind of a hole in the wall place, but now that I know it’s there, I’ll be back! Shellac was only $25!

My family and I all go to Star Nails and have been going for 2yrs now. Let me add we are a African American family so color/race has nothing to do with the type of service you receive. She does a great job every time, one thing I love about this place is if you ask for a service she will give you her professional opinion instead of taking your money. One thing I will say about paying with a CC she had an issue with customers paying with stolen CC and she now only accepts cash. And might I add she speaks good English, and no translator is needed, she even speaks a little Spanish.

I’ve come here a couple times to get my nails done and my eyebrows done. It’s a nice little place and it’s conveniently cheap too! I gave four stars because the place is understaffed but I like how they do nails!

Horrible I just went in to fix a nail and I was kicked of a chair cause they needed it my nail not even dry then she fought with me about not accepting my card for 6 dollars and she did a horrific job on my nail. DO NOT COME HERE! !!!

I should’ve known better when walking in the shop ..the ceiling was hanging bloated out from water damage wires hanging all over the walls it was the nasiest place I ever visited but due to the recent baf weather I excused it.. all I asked for was to have my real nails to be polished with gel polish which should take 20 minutes it took her over an hour because another customer came in and she started rushing … She had gel polish on my skin which burned under the light she had to use a cuticle cutter to cut the gel from the side of my nails then she started cutting my skin… the gel polish wrinkled up she painted a clear coat on top of it as if that would make the creases go away ….she had to fix two nails that was peeling she painted over the part that peeled up …once she painted over those two bumpy nails….two more nails was peeling away… at that point I said this is not going to work I need my money back 2 peeled nails ..2 lumpy nails 3 with creases in the and a bleeding thumb 10 nails 8 of them had to be corrected she said i peeled them off even though I showed her all four peeling on the side she said i fix ..i fix painting over the empty spots without evening out the nails thats not fixing it i no longer wanted to pay for a job being done horrible she said hold on i need help her English isn’t good I thought she meant a translatior or owner i have never had gel polish wrinkle and peel from the nail peel off i asked her to remove the polish and give me money back she said hold on I get help I sat there thirty minutes after the 30 minute no one coming and she not saying anything i called the number to make a complaint thats posted on her wall this lady ran from doing her customer pedicare to grab her license from the counter so I couldn’t get the number.. I died laughing lmao after that I couldn’t deal I counted it as a loss as i started to pull out i saw the police pull up to her shop I turned around so i could talk to them as well WHO DOES THAT I could understand if I was threating her or acting belligerent or refusing to leave … this lady told me to hold on I’m thinking she getting a translator she could have said something like no refund … please leave…..I will not fix them…. Something !!! I hate to say its because of skin color but I really can’t see any other reason I was upset but I was never disrespectful to here I’m literally sitting there for 30 minutes waiting for someone to help her translate I have never been in a situation like that but I did it to myself worst nail shop I have ever been too and worst customer service EVER!
