Please do not bother going here! I went there today and I didn’t mind waiting to be serviced. What I didn’t like is that the guy servicing me rushed on my nails. He didn’t completely polish my nails on one hand and he didn’t buff and file my nails so they were uneven. He didn’t bother to fix my nails. He just went on to the next customer. Another worker attempted to help me, but she was helpless as well. She basically looked at my nails and said he couldn’t polish my full nail because I needed a manicure. I’m no nail expert, but I haven’t heard anything like this ever in my lifetime and I’ve been getting my nails done for several years now. Not to mention I had a manicure and pedicure done 2 weeks ago at their nail salon. They were rude and cared less about customer satisfaction. This is only my second time going to star nails and it will be my last. I thought they were the same owners as star nails in Baton Rouge but they are not. My first experience was a great one, but today was horrible. I’m not sure if it’s because it is a Saturday and they are busy, but that shouldn’t be a reason for bad customer service. Anyways save your time and money and go to a different nail salon. Happy Saturday!

The ladies that work there are very friendly to their regular familiar customers, but if you’ve only been to the salon a couple times they hardly speak to you. They don’t ever smile and make your visit seem like a chore that they have to hurry up and finish. I felt like they were more annoyed with me then willing to do my nails, especially when it took me a minute to “pick color”!! I made the comment for them to just smile a little, this was before COVID-19, and I think I made her even more annoyed. I just found the environment very doom and gloom especially with so much competition in the nail business you would think that they would at least be just little more welcoming and hospitable. Unfortunately I returned at least 4 to 5 times after that, even though I always tip well especially if I am happy with the end results. But again the same atmosphere which is Really disappointing. ☹️

I’ve been going here for about 2 years. They have wonderful customer service. They’ve done wonderfully with customers since the pandemic by reducing customer volume and taking other safety measures. There are so many nail salons closer to my home, but I will continue to go to this one.

i went in their thinking that it would be a good experience because i had heard good things but i was wrong. i picked out a light pink color and they did not put enough coats on so you can see right through. She also was picking at my cuticles and made a lot of them bleed. My gel nails are already peeling and i have only had them on for a week. And lastly it was not crowded and they rushed through and did not do a good job at all. waste of my money

Went there today and they were so prejudice. They told me they didn’t do foil soak offs for dipping powder, but a customer that didn’t look like me had foil to soak off her dipping powder. They attempted taking my dipping powder off with false nails ripping my nails. They then attempting cutting it clippers and damaged my other nails. They finally allowed me to soak them off like a normal acrylic soak off. I was so angry I just paid for the soak off and left with the damaged nails. They did not apologize for messing up my nails nor did they offer to not charge me. I have never had such bad service. Definitely would not recommend.

When I went to get my nails refilled about a week ago I had a man do my nails who did them perfectly and was really sweet. A few days after having the nails, two came off. I went to get them fixed today and the lady who fixed them did not make them the same length or shape. Very annoying.
