I can’t say enough good things about this nail salon! The owner Anthony is amazing as is his entire staff! I take my 81 year old mom here for pedicures and they treat her like royalty. Anthony does amazing work … I’ve never been disappointed! I would love to keep this gem a little secret but I will do you a favor and tell you go there for your next nail appointment

I went to Star Nails to get a dip manicure removed. They soaked my nails for 30 seconds and then ripped off the polish. It was so painful. And then the manicure I received was awful and rushed. Critical: Punctuality, Quality, ValueWaited 45 minutes when I had a scheduled appointment. The gel started chipping and peeling 3 days after I got them done. The glitter was applied so far down from my cuticle that it already looks like it needs a fill. This picture was taken 5 days after I got the manicure. All of the nails have different thicknesses. Waited 45 minutes when I had a scheduled appointment. The gel started chipping and peeling 3 days after I got them done. The glitter was applied so far down from my cuticle that it already looks like it needs a fill. This picture was taken 5 days after I got the manicure. All of the nails have different thicknesses. No one these days does a pedicure properly. Soaking feet without scraping off dead skin is a must for a proper pedicure and they seem to think thats a deluxe service now. If you want your feet soaked in wasrm water and polish on your toes pay for the basic pedicure

The whole staff is awesome and professional. They are really nice and know how to hold a great conversation. I feel like I am apart of a family every time I come. The owner Anthony is very funny and Rose, who does my nails, is very sweet. The prices are reasonable and the work is great. I just moved to the Milwaukee area and I am very happy that I took a chance and stopped in Star Nails.

I could give better rating if they stop talking so much and concentrate on their work. I have been more than 3 hours in the place for a filling and pedicure and not because they take the time on me. It is because they talk a lot, they get distracted for anything and then they rush to finish quickly leaving a horrible job. Also, they want you to make an appointment just to keep you waiting while they work with other clients or disappear to go eat. I already tried 4 different specialists in star nail. They did a good job the first time, which makes you come back, but the next time the quality of the work decreased a lot. Although some clients say that star nails has good prices. It irritates me to pay $ 25 just to have my nails painted instead of a real, clean pedicure. I will not do my pedicure at star nail anymore.

This place has gone down in quality over the years. They seemed to get too busy and it felt as if they were rushing their work rather than turn anyone away. My manicure was uneven with uneven polish and I had to point this out several times to the owner that was doing my nails. I had bubbles in the topcoat on several nails that the owner said would go away as they dried, but didn’t. My nails also chipped within a few hours of leaving. My pedicure felt rushed and I felt as if they didn’t take the time and effort into it like they used to. My eyebrow waxing left wax on my eyelid that kept causing my eyelid to stick when I blinked and had to clean away myself and they did not do a good job of shaping nor waxing the entire brow, so I had to clean up the edges myself with a tweezer after leaving. The lack of quality I left with on this visit has me rethinking if I would return.
