My first time was so awesome but today I went in with my sister and we both asked for the same thing, the lady who did mine did a horrible job. She was rude when I tried telling her I didn’t like them she told me to relax and didn’t do the show I asked. And I still payed she also didn’t bother to asked me if I liked them because she knew I hated them. They are bulky as well, but I loved my sisters because Tracy did hers and that’s who did mine the first time because she does an awesome job. First 2 pics are mine and 3 is my sisters which is what I asked for

Today was my first time going there, and I loved it I got what I wanted and will for sure go back the nail technician was super nice and did what I wanted her name is Tracey for sure will ask for her next time. My sister asked for the same and she got a really bad job very bulky and not the shape she wanted.the lady was rude to my sister, So please be aware of the nail technician you go to.

This place is literally the best nail salon i’ve ever been to. Every employee is so kind and patient. I asked for a very complex acrylic style and she basically did the exact same thing in a fair amount of time. The nails have amazing quality and they were affordable. I’ve been coming here for around 10 years. They never disappoint! 1000% recommend!! :))

It really depends on which technician you get. A few of them do an amazing job; and others either can’t see well, or don’t pay attention, and your nails will come out in all different shapes.

Beware – GO AT YOUR OWN RISK……. Went for 2 Week follow up to get my nails done. Only 1 customer was in the salon. Was told to wash my hands and the owner/manager said she would do my nails. Just after starting on my nails, a man with 2 young ladies came in for 3 pedicures. They were told -sure no problem and instead of continuing my nail appt, the rep/owner/manager got 2 bowls full of acetone, told me to soak just as little bit and proceeded to do the other 3 new customer pedicures. More walk-in customers continued to come in and we’re seen & I was getting upset. After soaking in acetone for 40 + minutes and being rudely ignored when my hands started burning , I got up & walked out. Suddenly, I was told not to leave and they would continue to do my nails. I refused and went to 2 other nail salons to see if they could help me. I was told my nails were ruined.

I received great service and a lovely manicure at Star Nails. The atmosphere was calming and enjoyable. The ladies there were social distancing and everyone was wearing masks. This pleased me extremely well even though I am vaccinated as everyone should be. Thank you for the pleasant experience.

BEWARE! The only male technician took off my non-gel toenail polish with a rotary tool. I asked him not to use it after he nicked my flesh with it TWICE. He was using that rotary tool on a level not necessary to remove two layers of nail polish. I cannot believe I let him continue touching my feet now that I am sitting here writing this review. I should’ve immediately asked for another technician or just left the salon altogether. He either pretended not to hear me, or did not care and continued to use the tool when I asked him to use acetone solution to remove the polish instead. When I returned home, I had to put antibiotic ointment on three places on my cuticles and skin surrounding my toes. Color choices for non gel were mediocre. I will definitely not be returning to this salon.

My first manicure in October lasted four full weeks (save for grow out) with only one small chip and no broken nails. I couldn’t believe it! I went for my second one last week. Linda removed the gel polish, cleansed and prepared my nails for the new gel polish and it looks absolutely perfect. I’m from the Claremont area, so Viewmont is out of my way, but I’ll make the trip every time for results like this!
