Star Nails

Critical: Quality2 stars instead of 1, since the man who gave me a pedicure did a good job and was very nice. The manicure, however, was hands down the worst I’ve ever had. I was there with a few girls to get our nails done for a wedding the next day. I had made a comment that I rarely get acrylic tip manicures, so I guess the man who did my nails assumed I wouldn’t know the difference between and good and bad job. He didn’t shape or buff my nails, and they came out very thick and lumpy with uneven gaps of no polish at all, and my nails were still tacky underneath when I left. The polish had bubbles and globs of top coat, and there was polish on my fingertips and cuticles. My cuticles weren’t trimmed and left ragged. The tips were so tight and the layers so thick that my nails had constant pressure on them, and it was so uncomfortable that I took the whole set off the day after the wedding. Had we not already been there for over 2 hours and were on a schedule, there is no way I would have walked out of there with this manicure. I’m not one to make a fuss, but wow, what a waste of money! 2 stars instead of 1, since the man who gave me a pedicure did a good job and was very nice. The manicure, however, was hands down the worst I’ve ever had. I was there with a few girls to get our nails done for a wedding the next day. Then I started getting my eyelashes done by Vicky who was very good she has always did them. 1 day made a appointment Vicky answered the phone gave me appointment with her to do my lashes when I arrived Someone else was doing my lashes I gave Them the benefit of doubt cause they were busy . Lashes were not like I wanted Them . I have even referred several people to Vicky . This last time I walked In told her I need my lashes done there was someone ahead of me they went then I went In the room the lady walked out and checked the lady out . Someone else walked in the salon they sat her down to do her nails so I let A few minutes go by I stood up and asked who was doing my lashes . She then said can you wait 30mins absolutely not I called you told me you were available and when I walked In you didn’t tell me there was a wait . I’d much rather pay someone $150 to do my lashes than to deal with this salon . This is the last straw, have given this business several opportunities to fix their mistakes. 1st time guy did my nails very poor quality so I started making a appointment with Vicky herself to do my nails.
