DO NOT COME HERE! A WORKER MESSED MY NAILS UP AND DID NOT FINISH, THEY TOLD ME TO COME BACK TOMORROW AND THEN NOBODY SERVICED ME! Love this place – I’ve been coming here for years and they always do such a good job. They accommodate me and my nails are difficult to do because I’m a professional guitarist so my left hand must be treated much differently than my right hand to include the length of the nails and the thickness or thinness of the acrylic. Can’t thank them enough for all their years of good service. My husband buys me a huge gift certificate every Christmas which is my favorite gift of all every year!

The chairs are great! But, there is a very limited choice of polish colors (unless you want gel), there was no massage or anything with the pedicure (a big part of why I pay for one or else I’d just do it myself), and my big toes didn’t even get rubbed with the pumice stone so are still rough. The space is clean and meets the bare minimum for being a good place… but there needs to be than the bare minimum for a good rating.

All of the wonderful technicians I’ve ever worked with have been professional & friendly. I’ve relocated further away from the shop and tried other nail salons but I’m terrified of anyone else doing my eyebrows because my skin is very sensitive to most wax and the other salons just don’t live up to the quality of cleanliness and safety! I’ve been going here for over 15 years and have never had a bad experience! The shop has always been clean and very sanitary. All of the wonderful technicians I’ve ever worked with have been professional & friendly. The technicians are friendly and professional and the place is always updated in decor along with new pedicure chairs from time to time. Was there today finally after 16 months of pandemic. Had Mary attending to me for pedicure; she surely spent a lot of time cleaning up my toe nails, especially my 2 ugly big toe nails. She was sweet and very patient and did a very nice job on my toe nails despite of a part of broken old nail. Have been going to Star Nail in Colesville for 17 years. The technicians are friendly and professional and the place is always updated in decor along with new pedicure chairs from time to time. Was there today finally after 16 months of pandemic. Had Mary attending to me for pedicure; she surely spent a lot of time cleaning up my toe nails, especially my 2 ugly big toe nails. Worst place ever, my sister went to get her eyebrows done and came back crying because they ruined her eyebrows one was more bigger than the other I wish I could give it 0 stars. The lady was confused and didn’t know what she was doing and she even asked for tip when we didn’t have any but tried to force us to go somewhere to get tip. Worst salon ever experienced I recommend to never go.

She also makes good suggestions for me to upgrade my Mani. Kathy has also done my nails, she takes her time and does her best. And waxing is good too, done very carefuly by the head tech. I got SNS powder hygienically placed on my nails with the brush on method rather than dipping. I admittedly spent a lot of money there yesterday, they did not go up on charge just for COVID like other salons. I wish they were still covering the chairs and surfaces per client it makes me feel safer. If you ask they will oblige.They do good work.
