I just moved to the area a few months back and have tried at least 4 other nail salons before I found my way to star nails! Super friendly girls who do a great job! Cathy was amazing I definitely recommend her, she takes her time, very detailed in her work and prices are very reasonable! She did exactly what I wanted! Happy to have found my new nail tech!

I live in Hagerstown, MD and drive to Olney, MD to receive the wonderful service this shop gives. The ladies are so nice, informative and provide the best service! I get the powder gel manicure and it lasts 3 weeks or more! I LOVE STAR NAILS!!!!

So overall the experience was awful but nails turned out fine. The lady who I first sat down with made getting acrylics impossible and tried telling me the color I wanted wasn’t good for my skin tone and was trying to convince me to get a more expensive procedure consistently. Then she wouldn’t cut my nails to the shape I wanted and did a god awful job of putting the acrylic powder on and she literally had to rip the whole thing off &she didn’t know the nail shapes and did it completely wrong. The only good nail artist in there is Joe and thank his he was there to clean up her mess. And even he did a bumpy job in the end. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend coming here. Also don’t get your eyebrows done here because the wax is too hot and they basically take off your whole eyebrow!
