Lolita is excellent by far the best Dominican stylist I’ve dealt with. She has my hair healthy and every two weeks I can’t wait to go. Also the service is fast, I hate spending all day in a Salon. Dominicana Hair Salon used to be a place where you could get good service and decent prices. NOW the price are ridiculous. We all understand that things goes up and time changes, however the prices are outrageous. You still can get the same service elsewhere but not for that price. Let’s be reasonable, because all that heat is not even good for your hair.

Is everyone’s hair treated like there is a dandruff problem? That rubber, circular tool used to wash my hair appeared to do nothing more than tangle it. So much of my hair came out as she combed the hair for the roller set. I have a semi permanent color. When mentioned something about ” It’s red,” I had to tell her when the hair color is quite visible in the light. My regular hair dresser is unavailable for about 2 months. I’m used to care that is specific to my hair, not one size fits all.

I will never return to this place! After getting my hair done, the lady had a hard time trying to figure out the price for what I got done. I had my hair washed, dryer and straightened. The price she gave me at the end was extremely high. “$75” JUST FOR BLOWING YOUR HAIR? Seriously, I’ve done my hair in other places and I’ve never had to pay this! I could have gotten my hair dyed with a hairstyle in a different salon with $120. Ridiculous. I really felt like they overpriced it. Never going here again. I don’t recommend it.

The young lady that did my hair was great. Conversation was good, complimented my hair before and after. 2 things I didn’t like was I think she was helping the assistant and stopped washing my hair to wash someone else hair and the assistant came to wash my hair . The other thing was the 2 roaches. One fell from the bathroom door and I lost visual of the other trying to keep an eye on the one that fell off the bathroom door. I’m not saying it was dirty in there but I saw 2 roaches Who knows where they came from ♀️ It’s connected to other businesses so you never know but I saw 2 roaches. My hair looks great.

I use to love this place. They need the old owner back and the old stylist. I’ve been in here since 11am. Only 2 stylist and one shampoo lady. Rollers in my hair, dryer cut off 20 minutes ago and I’m still just sitting. ♀️ This should not take 5 hours. Hairstyling

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityMe and my sister got to the salon at 930 only one person was here so we had to wait. That’s fine but once my sister got her hair done I had to wait until someone who came an hour after me got her hair done before I got my hair done. That is unacceptable and unprofessional period and I did not appreciate that happening to me at all
