I got dreadlocks extension and also dreadlocks tip color & a cute curly hair style. Critical: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismThe owner Joy is personable and she tries to please people but at the same time she nor her few staff members have no regards for their customers time. Also when she give you a price she always at the end of the process say how much work she had to do on your hair and that she didn’t charge the correct amount.. I always ask what is the highest estimate for the particular work I wanted to be done so I will be able to budget myself and she gave me a price yet at the end my daughter’s retwist and dread repair was incomplete after us being there in the salon for 2 days and almost 13 hours total. Joy said to me to finish up the dread repair part she did by twisting them myself at home because she did a lot of work and didn’t charge me the correct amount when I particularly asked her before she even started the work on my daughter’s hair how much would the whole thing cost and she set a price with me . If I could retwist my kids hair I wouldn’t have choose to spend hundreds of dollars by coming into her salon. Don’t come to this place unless you have a whole day to dedicate to them, because intstead of finishing one customer at a time they jump around from customer to customer making you wait hours and hours. It’s a mess. And no mask wearing is not enforced , even the owner don’t wear mask. I don’t think I will be bringing my daughter back here in the future. Also the older lady she calls her sister working with her kept mumbling loudly under her breath how tired she is and oh my goodness and a whole lot of negative things a customer shouldn’t be subjected to hear about their hair while getting it done…and that’s why she got no tip for the part of the work she did on my daughter’s hair. The owner Joy is personable and she tries to please people but at the same time she nor her few staff members have no regards for their customers time. Also when she give you a price she always at the end of the process say how much work she had to do on your hair and that she didn’t charge the correct amount.. She doesn’t know what customer retention is. I came in for starter locs. I drove about 45 minutes to go to this establishment. The girl who was doing my hair was nice I will not fault her but when she was blow drying my hair she was hurting me with the attachment. I asked for two strand twist starter locs and she kept asking me is this what I really wanted now I went in there to start my locs so however it had to look or was going to look would have been fine. I don’t trust the owner. She wants to make money anyway she can. I believe the stylist should be able to suggest methods to satisfy what you are asking for. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. I would never ever recommend anyone to go there. Then she tried to argue with me because I told her I wanted to leave. When your gut tells you to not allow someone to do your hair listen to it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Despite the reviews I decided to come anyways. There is definitely flies. The lady who answers the phone Joy is RUDE. She doesn’t know what customer retention is. I came in for starter locs. I drove about 45 minutes to go to this establishment.
