Highly recommend this Float Center, it’s the only one in St. Pete, so I don’t need to drive to Tampa, and it’s the nicest one I’ve seen so far. It’s a peaceful quiet place with thoughtful, clean and beautiful float rooms, and I was given a good run down to my options while experiencing my float…optional neck pillow, turn all lights off, etc.

i will say this was the first float for me and my partner. we both did say the same thing when we exited though, which was how distracting the banging was during our float. they shut the music off after the first few minutes, so you can float in silence, but there was a lot of banging, which sounded similar to someone knocking, i found myself not only unable to relax, but worried someone needed to come in. it may have been someone trying to break up the salt bags, but it happened at least 5 different times. the spacious tubs were nice, as were the toiletries after, so you can go back to your day. as far as pain relief, my neck was more sore after, possibly from positioning on the halo pillow, which i adjusted part way through. i respond well, pain wise, to a magnesium scrub i use and was excited to try floating. it definitely was a let down.

This place is amazing. The owner Mark is exceptional and very friendly. The place is clean and so well kept. The saltwater pools are perfectly salted. I highly recommend this place to anyone with aches and pains or arthritis or in need of a quiet rest and time out.

If you’re ever curious about salt float I would strongly recommend doing it. This was my first time it took about 10 to 15 minutes to get used to the floating process but after that you feel as if you’re floating on a cloud and your mind goes to a different place it’s beyond any meditative practice I’ve done. I am definitely going back and I will probably do the package deal. The after effects when you’re finished with the float,the owner calls it float drunk, is amazing total serenity is what I experienced. I really can’t say enough positive about this experience
