Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueMy husband & I got tattoos yesterday by artist/owner Nate, and we could not be more satisfied with his work! We went with Spyder Rose after reading positive reviews on Yelp and Google, so while we had some context, we’d never met Nate or been in the shop until our tat date.Communication:From my initial phone call to email correspondence to face-to-face interaction, Nate was professional, accommodating and kind. His confident, relaxed disposition was immediately reassuring. As he worked, the three of us enjoyed casual conversation. Nate continually checked in with us to ensure we were as comfortable as could be and happy with how the ink was coming along. He also provided clear instructions for follow-up care.Skill:Before we arrived, Nate had thoughtfully modified the designs we requested (generic ones we found via Google images) to more accurately depict our dog Haze. Throughout the session, Nate referred to a photo of Haze to get the nuances just right. He had a gentle touch and a steady hand.Atmosphere:The shop itself has a calm and cozy but still polished vibe. It is a clean, creative, unpretentious space. Bella the shop dog kept us company here and there as she roamed from one of her beds to another, and two other staff (Allen and Jess, I think?) politely chimed in on our convo now and then.Value:We were pleasantly surprised when presented with the bill. Given how much time and energy Nate spent on us, we feel we got the best deal for quality work we could have hoped for!This was my husband’s first tattoo. Minutes after we left our appointment, he said he wouldn’t bother going anywhere else for his next one. I feel the same way. Thanks, Nate!
