I’ve been coming to Spruce for years.. Even after a location change, Tennyson Street outgrowing itself, COVID, and new ownership, I love coming here for a good easy relaxing haircut/shave/trim. Went to Spruce after my regular guy of 10 years fell off the radar…I am older…and there is nothing “hip” about me…but the reviews were excellent…so I thought I would give Spruce a try…I booked with JIMMY…he was excellent! He did an amazing job ! Could not be happier with the haircut ! The shop is very relaxed…and comfortable with a good vibe…glad I found this place…definitely going to return for the next cut…

Kelsey, the woman who cut my hair was silent as a church mouse. Small talk was excruciating to get out of her. I had to ask her all the small talk questions to keep the silence at bay and she didn’t bother asking me a single question in return and never once said “how about you?” after my questions. I told her how I get my hair done and she only completed about 3/4 of it before she said she was finished. I usually would push to have what I asked to be completed but I couldn’t do the silence anymore. Would not go back.

I’m torn. This is, in my opinion, the best barbershop in Denver. I’ve had a variety of barbers over my years of visiting this place and I’ve always left more than satisfied. But if I recommend this place to people, then that means that I’ll have a harder time getting appointment slots.
