My son needed a haircut and we hadn’t made an appointment. He wanted to go to Sports Clips in Westlake because he had received a good haircut there one other time. When we walked in, everyone was extremely helpful and pleasant to us. The stylists all seemed great. When his turn came, his stylist was Farida. She was so attentive, careful to do what he asked for, and took her time. She gave him an excellent haircut which both he and I like (which is rare). I would highly recommend this location as well as Farida. They were willing to permit me to use a coupon, which was very nice (so I added some extra tip). Very professional, very good.

I normally don’t go out of the way to get a cut, but since the one I usually go to opened later I decided to go to this one. That was a mistake. I waited 25 minutes in queue thinking that I’ll get a decent haircut since the last time I was there it was a positive experience. No, I was unfortunately wrong. As I was next in line, another gentleman checked in and apparently it was either a friend or a relative of the stylist that did my haircut. Well, as he checked in, she had pointed out that I was next (talking in their home language). Well, she then directed me to her station and told her what I wanted. I kid you not, the cut took less than a minute. She really rushed it (which seemed like her friend/relative was more VIP than I was) And I didn’t realize how bad it was until a few days later when I notice she missed a patch of hair on the back of my left ear. I’ll be sticking to the usual sport clips in the valley. Won’t be coming to the Westlake one.

Just lame. Can’t take an appointment can’t commit to check ins. They try to upswell saying card payment might not work, but try it…. Just bullsh*t and not convenient. I didn’t even mention the styling is bad, they can’t cut hair well. Fast food workers with scissors and a towel.
