I called to specifically ask if they take appointments and they said no and to come along. The lady did not mention ANYTHING about online check in. I came in with my two sons and there were 5 people ahead of us. Well apparently we had 7 more people walk in who had checked in online. We waited for 1.5 HOURS! Absolutely ridiculous! The last straw was when someone checked both of her sons and left after 1st son (and other som was left at #1 spot) she LEFT for 30 min and then came back and jumped in line since he was #1. I have never waited so long and this will be last time we come here. Wait is simply not worth it.

Hair cut was horrible. I’ve been going to another location for years but this one was closer so I tried it out. 1st bad haircut in years. Woman claimed to work there since it opened. Ended up wearing a hat as often as I could until hair grew back out. SMH

I went to the Vestavia location and the lady that cut my hair was named Carmen. I’m pretty sure that I could’ve done a better job myself with a pair of paper scissors and a mirror. Short of taking a razor and shaving my head completely there really isn’t much that could be done to salvage this terrible haircut. I think the thing that frustrates me the most is I told her specifically how I wanted it cut in complete detail and she cut it entirely different. I came in with the part in my hair and combed to the right I left with pretty much an asymmetrical buzz cut and no freaking hair. I have never been more disappointed and embarrassed with a haircut in my entire life. Hands-down the worst hair cutter in the industry. I think a blind no talent inexperienced trainee could have done a better job. What’s worse is that I was expected to pay for this disaster. Good by sports clips you will never see me again.

I started a new job today. I planned on getting my hair cut before I started. I tried visiting The Grove location this morning & was told that they open at 10 instead of 9 like their website & door both say, which was a big let down. After working my first day & apologizing countless times to my boss, I attempted to go to the vestavia location. I checked in & sat down patiently. For an HOUR. Once it was finally my turn, a man that got there 30 minutes after me walked up to the stylist he apparently knew & she sat him in the chair before me & then LIED TO ME about the reason for this, stating he was ahead of me. He did not check in online & his name was still on the wait list probably 7 lower than mine. I will never visit a sports clips location again. The staff here as redefined unprofessional & disrespectful for me. Thanks for nothing.

Visiting from out of town and needed a place to get a good haircut, other places in the area seemed to have hit or miss reviews but I’ve never had a bad time at a sports clips so I figured I would just go here, was not disappointed! The staff were all very friendly and very helpful, the haircut was great and it was clear that everyone their takes great pride in what they do! If I were in the area more it would be the only place I got a cut.
