I had to get a cut the other day, and for some reason the Libertyville location was closed just for the day temporarily so I came here. Already I could tell that it was a lot more packed because of Libertyville being closed. After waiting 80 minutes for my turn, this lady comes back from break and I’m the next one up. It started like any other haircut, tell them what you want and they start working on it while you make small talk. After about 10 minutes, I could feel she was doing my hair wrong. She was swooping my hair to the wrong side, so I had to correct her but she almost got offended by me correcting her with a tone “what, what don’t you like about your hair?? Tell me”. Then I asked if she could do my sideburns because they hadn’t been done in a while, after I get home they are completely uneven. One is too high and one is too short so I’m going to have to fix that by myself. The worst thing by far, was how without asking me she “trims my eyebrows” but she doesn’t trim them exactly. She basically elevates my eyebrow hairs with a comb and shaves it off with the shaver, but after getting home you can very clearly see that one eyebrow is spotty and wasn’t done right. Thank God she didn’t actually mess up my hair, but I’ve never had a barber mess up this bad on something so simple and easy and for $27 too plus tip? I can tell you that I will never be going back to this location ever again

Great service, it was our first time here. Place is specifically geared towards men haircuts. Very sporty design, i saw a little bit and couple of men get hair cuts while waiting- there two women that worked there were professional. Men can also upgrade to warm towel and getting their hair washed, not just a fast trim.

They watched the stylists play on their phones and chat when they were finished with other customers for 15 minutes. They didn’t even sweep or sanitize. Once the stylist talked to them after an hour wait the stylist said she needed to take a quick phone call and then would see my son. After 20 minutes the stylist never came back out and no one said anything to my husband and son. The other stylist took another client even though no one had taken my son and husband because they had requested her. I went to this location today. It was pretty busy and there was a bit of a wait, but it wasn’t anything too terrible. When I got called, I was seated with a lovely woman named Ruby. She was very sweet, very kind, and very patient with me as I had an unusual haircut. All in all, I had a great experience. I am one happy customer and will be returning as soon as I need a trim. I hope to get Ruby once again, she was the best.
