This place prioritizes online reservations over walk ins. Even if you’re the only one in waiting room, hair stylist will take their time or take a break, (or both in my case), and wait for the next online person before helping you. Don’t agree with that. Otherwise mediocre salon.

Staff greeted me and made sure they knew exactly what I wanted before starting my cut. One of the few places where a man can get a scalp massage locally. Price was high for a cut but the staff was friendly and made me feel relaxed. Giving 4 stars due to the cost. Otherwise a great experience.

Registered twice online and we’re the only ones there waiting to be called after being checked in. The only two tall caucasian ladies there had just finished with their customers and ignored us after asking for my son’s name twice. Horrible customer service in the Ventura location. I took my son to the Oxnard location and he was taken right in with no hesitation by a friendly hairstylist . Thank you Oxnard Sports Clips Haircuts.

The front desk lady who cuts hair in the first chair on the left is down right unprofessional and rude. She must have problems at home and needs to leave them at the door. Very unwelcoming for my 4 year old to get a simple haircut. I also tried 2 times to get her attention to tell her we would come back later and I was completely ignored both times. Unbelievable

I walked in and maybe had a 10-minute wait so I just sat down and watched American Pickers. Usually the sports clips has sports on but I actually enjoyed watching something else. Can’t remember the name of the lady who cut my hair but she did a great job. Since this was my first time there she offered me the VIP package complimentary. To wash my hair and give me a scalp massage and it felt great. I would definitely come back here again.

Ashley has been cutting my hair for several years. She’s awesome and always does a great job. I’ve tried other places in a pinch but always come back to Ashley. The shampoo and hot towel are a great touch too, so relaxing I almost fall asleep! The place is always clean plus I get to catch up on sports for 20mins.

Took my 4 yo in the stylist was so patient and attentive with him. I did not know if his hair was too long on top (usually his dad takes him), she assured me if something was wrong or if his school did not allow him a mohawk to bring him back.
