After a hot-mess of an at-home haircut, I brought my almost 4 year old to Sport Clips to fix his hair. The wait was long BUT they told me that up front, I was a walk in and had no appointment, and I was happy to wait to get his hair cut. The waiting area was comfortable and we could watch TV while we waited- time went by quickly. When it was our turn the stylist was so kind and patient with my son, and she did an amazing job of explaining what she was doing while she did it. His hair looks amazing and the experience was excellent, my son asked if we could go back when he needs a haircut again. Will definitely continue to bring my boys here!

The stylist seemed to care about what looked best on me. Everything she did she made sure she had permission before doing it. When I wanted a size 4, she did size 5 in the middle of the side of my head in case I wanted to fade it up or down and in case I thought size 4 looked too short. In the end, she offered to fade the back of my head because she noticed my hair was thick and explained it would look better when grown out if faded. She was experienced and good at her job. This is why I exclusively go to sports clips. You pay for better service and nicer employees.

The online reservation system is garbage! I checked in when it said 50 minutes, but it immediately dropped to 0 but showed 2 people in front of me. I drove to the store and apparently got recycled to the end of the list because there was now 8 people in front of me, and my wait was 55 minutes. This wasn’t even just people who were present, which might be forgiven, this was all the online check ins. When I did finally get in for a haircut, Shania did a fantastic job. This would have been a 5 star visit if not for the absolute trash that the online reservation system is. It cost me a full hour despite indicating that I should be able to walk in and get a haircut.

Looked online for decent places to get a hair cut. Sport Clips seemed to be the best place in St Cloud to get a decent hair cut at a decent price. I went there for the first time the other day and had a poor experience. I got a simple clipper cut and it didn’t turn out real well. I had plenty of hairs that were sticking out that didn’t get cut and could still see lines in my hair (i get it longer on top, short on sides). The gal had another stylist look it over and she said it needed to be fixed. So the gal I had “fixed” it and said it was good. She did a couple more pass overs with the clippers and that was it. She didn’t seem to care at all. She brushed the clipper against my head a couple times in random spots. I got home and could still a bunch of loose hairs and the lines where the heights changed. Might give it one more shot as the person i had seemed new. Wish me luck..
