Came in on opening day and had Victoria cut my hair and trim up my beard. Honestly; the BEST hair cut and beard trim I’ve ever had. She knows what she’s doing and I will be coming in to see her from now on. Since it was my first time to SC I was upgraded to their MVP treatment for free, which was awesome and, again, Victoria did a great job! She was very educational on hair products but DID NOT come off as a salesman. What?! A hair salon without the pushy product sales? Yes!

December 4th after work around 1530 I went to get a hair cut. I checked in and said it’ll be 24min. Which was fine. After 30min all 2 of 3 barbers were done and started cleaning. Thought oh they must’ve really care about sanitation and comfort of their costumers. But another 30min went by. No one came to get me. I got up and my name was on the board and all the barbers were in the back. Wish they would just tell me they don’t want to cut my hair instead of making me wait an hour.

I’d been a walk-in several times and had a good haircut. Today I called to reserve a time, as I was on more of a schedule. I was notified that Sport Clips does not have the capability to reserve a time or tell me the approximate wait time over the phone. According to the person I spoke to, they do not have access to their computer system, and I was told I could use the convenient online procedure…Which entails creating a login name, a password, and writing down those things to remember. Then I could create an account, then I can finally, after pulling over and spending ten minutes doing all of this, reserve a spot. Quick and easy? Much easier than calling, asking when the first availability was, and giving my name? That might take less than one minute. I’ve enjoyed my haircuts there, and am looking forward to the day when Sport Clips ends up having the technology available to take a name over the phone. Unfortunately this is another example, under the guise of customer service, of technology making things easier and more cost efficient for the business, not the customer. Dang, I just wanted a haircut.

So generally I have an outstanding experience here. They cut my hair well and the way I like it and the MVP experience is completely worth the price (which isn’t that much) my last visit wasn’t 5 stars but the other half a dozen were so amazing that I will continue to come back.

Great haircut. The staff is friendly. The MVP experience is over the top. You get 2 hot towels, a shampoo and a scalp massage all while sitting in a massaging recliner. There are also frequent sales so you’ll rarely pay full price. Plus you can watch sports.

Critical: ProfessionalismSat down to get my hair cut, hair dresser immediately started talking about how covid was a hoax and it was liberal propaganda. She said that Inslee was using it to get votes and that Trump would save us all. I politely disagreed and told her that my older brother who was 35 recently died from the disease, and she responded by completely ruining my hair, I suspect it was intentional. I went home and had to buzz it all off. Avoid this place like the plague.
