When I first tried sports clips, the staff was very friendly. The last time I went to sport clips the staff was very friendly. Customer service and politeness are not a problem here. The problem is the inconsistency of getting a good haircut. They would have a lot of business, they would have my continued business, if they would take their time on a regular basis to do the haircut right. However like a lot of salons especially when it comes to men’s haircuts they want to rush through it. And you cannot Rush a good haircut. This is not the stylists problem, an industry-wide problem. Fix the problem and these companies will have a lot more business. Regular customers means regular cash.

The hairstylist did not cut my hair the way I described. I asked for an 8 on the sides with a blend to the top, they gave me an 8 with no blend and pushed my part inward. Secondly, they didn’t trim my sideburns to match the rest of my sides, I had to do that when I was home. Additionally, I had to ask for them to cut around my ears (even though the side of my head was at an 8 and a few hairs were still covering my ears. Hopefully I misread the situation and it wasn’t actually finished) but when she was cutting around, I heard her say oops and giggle a little. At the time I thought she heard a joke from her coworker since I wasn’t paying attention to them. Once I got in my car, I realized she shaved a patch of my hair away. The patch is right along the hairline above my ear above half an inch long, but noticeable. This was easily my worst haircut, and I tend not to care about my hair at all. I can’t believe I paid for someone to do that to me.

Alexis did great on our sons hair! Very awesome staff there! UPDATE – Went back today with our older son who we convinced this was a great place. Checked in online. No wait, walked right in, and BOOM out the window went the 5 star excitement. We were greeted by a woman who just stood there staring and that same woman chopped up his head. She looked and acted as if she had not a clue what she was even doing there. 45 min after watching this woman just clipping clipping at same spots like 10 times each…not exaggerated….I got up and asked what is happening, this is taking forever, and I didnt want to upset her cause maybe its her own technique and she was still working on my sons head. She whispered she was not done yet and i sat back down. Now i watched 4 other dudes come in get their haircut and out and she is still slowing hacking in same areas then finally after a 5th guy was in and out all shop shape she stops and steps back. My son looked all lost so again I go up and she whispers this good? WTF, I am done, his head was all chopped up. I spoke up asking who is going to come take over and thankfully another girl came and stepped in. As she was fixing my sons head she was being a nice coworkers and trying to please my by explaining the woman is new and done good all morning, slow but doing good, and then went on to say how the woman was not done yet and I told her just stop, i have been sitting here all this time watching, please just fix his hair. (She of course didnt hear the woman whisper “good” and I am not hard to please so just fixing his hair is fine with me plus I am not about to argue when its quite clear to not only my but my son and others sitting watching) she fixed his head after an additional good 15 – 20 min, we paid, and left. On the ride home my son made a comment on feeling some stinging so I looked and well not surprised. Pics are posted. Next time we will be sure Alexis is working or the blue haired girl who fixed his chop job is working. Not going to share the womans name because maybe she just isnt good with certain hair types so just besure you watch the person who is cutting your hair and good lord make sure they communicate.

My son just came home from his haircut and is super upset. The stylist did not listen to him at all. He told her he wanted to keep his top long and only wanted it trimmed, but the back and sides cleaned up. He lost most of his length up top and the sides are uneven and just trimmed. He is embarrassed with this cut and does not want to go to school tomorrow. Awful experience! Hair services are all about hearing your customers and cutting their hair to their preference. This looks like she knows one male cut and that’s all she can do, and not well. Taking him somewhere to clean it up.

While I was on the phone I asked should I sign in online was told not to worry about it that they would get me right in. When I told them what was said to me on the phone all 3 stylists said no one has called and we’ve talked to no one. Checked to make sure I called the right number and they told me I didn’t talk to anyone here. So apparently I imagined a phone call to.
