I was a walk in and only had to wait between 10 and 15 minutes. That may seem like a lot to some people, but they were busy and I’ve had to wait 30+ minutes at other places in the past. So, this was a short wait time for me. The staff was friendly and the cost was reasonable. The only issue I had was with the manager. I had no direct interaction with her, but she seemed to want to be anywhere but there. She was asked for help getting information for a customer and she never even spoke to the customer. If not for her I’d give 5 stars, but her mood that day set the atmosphere so only 4 stars.

So I am a girl that has a real Viking type hair cut ( very long Mohawk parting with the rest of my head shaved) and honestly I was nervous to go in because what girl walks into a mainly mens haircut place? My service was so good and honestly once I got seated with my barber lady she was so sweet and nice to me, that’s def going to be my regular place now. Gloria is the best asset this place has. The manager told me their was not another hair place in the direct area. However after I left I found a Fantastic Sam’s within a short walking distance. Also their posted price for seniors was $16. I was charged $25+$5 was a walk in. My haircut was great but I guess they don’t wash your hair either as it wasn’t offered. Gloria also said she is the only stylist that cuts females hair as it is most a man’s hair salon. Think I’ll find another less expensive place next time and only go back if Gloria can cut my hair.

My son came.in and asked for a 7 clipper on the sides and a clean up. She had to have given him a 3 all the way around. My other son who had a 5 clipper from a different stylist had way longer hair. My son came out with most of his hair gone. Thankfully a different stylist fixed it and faded it correctly. Will be looking for a different shop.

I have not gone to get a haircut since March. I have been getting haircuts at home because of Covid 19, but after visiting Sports Clips on IH 35 near 3009, I will definitely visit this store again. Their precautions for Covid 19 are outstanding. They have limited customers in the waiting area. They have removed hair cutting chairs, thus having less customers at a time and have spaced their chairs more than 6 feet apart. They have hard plastic sheets hanging from the ceiling between the chairs.
