Critical: ProfessionalismI checked in using the App requesting a specific stylist (Brenda). Upon my arrival I checked in again with the stylist behind the counter. I waited in the shop approximately 40 minutes. While waiting I received a text message stating “Batter up! You are On Deck and next in line for your haircut. Please be in store and ready for your haircut experience, or risk losing your spot in line”. While waiting in the shop and never exiting another customer walked in and chose first available stylist. After a while stylist Brenda brought the same other male back to cut his hair sitting him in her chair.I told Brenda that I was here and next according to the screen and App. Brenda responded “ I couldn’t change it in the computer”. I checked in using the App requesting a specific stylist (Brenda). Upon my arrival I checked in again with the stylist behind the counter. I waited in the shop approximately 40 minutes. While waiting I received a text message stating “Batter up! You are On Deck and next in line for your haircut. Critical: ProfessionalismWalked into the store at 4:30 PM on a Saturday. The sign on the front of the door said that they close at 6pm. I waited my turn at the check-in kiosk only to be told by an employee that they were already closing up and that the people in front of me were the last customers of the day. Confused, I said that the sign on the front of the door says they close at 6 PM. She said, it does? Then she started to head outside to look at the sign for herself when I realized they also had a display right there in the lobby that also said they close at 6 PM on Saturday. after pointing that out to her, she said oh, well we are still closing up for the day. Walked into the store at 4:30 PM on a Saturday. The sign on the front of the door said that they close at 6pm. I waited my turn at the check-in kiosk only to be told by an employee that they were already closing up and that the people in front of me were the last customers of the day. Critical: ProfessionalismI thought this was a place a guy could go to watch sports news while getting his haircut but I was clearly wrong as all the TVs were set to kids cartoons. Don’t get me wrong I understand needing to keep your child entertained while they get their haircut , but they have family barber shops and even kid specific barber shops nowadays specifically for that purpose so that when a guy like me walks into a “sports clips barbershop” he actually gets what he expects- not forced to watch baby cartoons for 30 minutes while he waits and has to go somewhere else because it’s the family friendly hour. I thought this was a place a guy could go to watch sports news while getting his haircut but I was clearly wrong as all the TVs were set to kids cartoons. Positive: ProfessionalismI came to Sports Clips for my boys haircut when our usual other place was packed. I didn’t know what to expect but I will never go to another other place for sons haircut. Shay is the best, she is kind and patient. Shay went above and beyond to make sure my boys were comfortable. I highly recommend coming here. I came to Sports Clips for my boys haircut when our usual other place was packed. I didn’t know what to expect but I will never go to another other place for sons haircut. Shay is the best, she is kind and patient. Shay went above and beyond to make sure my boys were comfortable. I highly recommend coming here. I won’t go anywhere else it’s the best haircut they gotten for the best price!

Since the previous manger moved to Stevenson Ranch, this location is getting worst by they day.Today’s experience started normal, with me as a walk in. Waiting time about 30 min. Which was great.I took the time to roam outside, limit COVID exposure and came back once I saw at the screen I was next, some 13 minutes remain in the clock.Upon re entering the store, one of the hairdressers, mumbled something from her position behind the customers chair. With her mask on (thank you), the loud TV’s (sports clips, very nice for ambience, no so good for distant communication) all I could make was ….something something, you next, thank you”I sat down and waited. Finally it was my turn.Surprise, it is not my turn. It turns out, what this lady was trying to convey from the distance, was that she made a mistake, had deleted someone from the schedule and that i would be next after that person.Now, I have to wait another 30 minutes at the very least. My schedule didn’t allow for me to wait, which is not her problem to solve. But I was informed wrong about the waiting tie due to her mistake, then she didn’t make sure I was clear on the situation and let me wait hopeless.Whomever owns, run this store, bring back the vibrant, customer services oriented management you had before.While yo do that, I will be getting my haircut elsewhere.This was once a great place to get your haircut. Critical: Punctuality, QualityDidn’t even comb or brush my hair after the cut today. Stylist literally ran some cream through my hair and said how’s that!? When I got home and tried to comb it, I realized why. I’ve been going here for several years but in the last couple years I’ve gotten more bad cuts than good.Service: Haircut
