I unfortunately had a very bad experience at the sports clips in Rochester mn, the 2 staff members there were very rude. My 6 year old son was the one getting his hair cut and she cut him almost immediately (he was not wiggling or anything.) When I asked her to fix it she just tried to explain to me how it is not messed up and refused to fix it. she also left a big bald spot on the back of his head. Then man in the seat next to us actually told the person cutting his hair he wanted something fixed and her response was “so you want to look retarded? Because if I do that you’ll look dumb as hell.” I could tell he felt very uncomfortable and also this was said right in front of my two kids ages 6 and 2. Very inappropriate. I also questioned why she charged my son $25 for a kids cut and not the kids price and she gave a very invalid excuse as to why she did, told me I still needed to tip her, so I just paid and left. Both women were very unprofessional. Both myself and the other man asked for hair to be fixed and both employees refused. I contacted customer service for a refund for my sons hair cut and got one response but then no follow up after contacting three additional times – still no response or follow up emails. Very very bad experience.

Lou was great she did a amazing job cutting my son’s hair he is 2 so he was squirmy but she did an amazing job there was a older lady there that was throwing a fit she worked there I work in customer service and feel the way she handled the situation was not professional at all all I could think was if I handled a situation like this at my job I would have been let go please do better

“Rolling the dice” is how I would describe this place. I had several good hair cuts there so I thought the price was justified, but my most recent experience was terrible. The stylists were slow and to top it off, shaved my hairline up the back almost an inch. Sorry to the good staff there, but the one or two people who don’t take pride in their job ruin it for the people who do.

The stylist DID NOT give my son the hair cut he requested even with showing her a picture of how he wanted his hair cut. I will NEVER go there again or recommend this place to anyone. Received an exceptionally poor haircut, though didn’t realize it was half as bad as it was until I went home and showered. Contacted them to let them know about the issues, as it was uneven and just plain bad (ie, not just not what I had in mind when I came in). Didn’t receive a response of any kind until today, 5 months later (haircut was on March 3rd). Response has no offer of any kind to fix it or otherwise make up for it, and included the line, “I was very sorry to hear that you did not receive the haircut that you had intended”, which doesn’t even address the issue I had.
