Freda and her staff are some of the nicest and best trained stylists in Colorado Springs are arguably the state!! I’ve been to other sports clips and other barber shops all over the springs and this by far is the best! Might as well have gone to Kiddie Cutters to have got my beard fixed up; these individuals do not know what they are doing or don’t truly care about making you look presentable. The manager of the evening shift wasn’t even able to fix the mistakes and thought it was humorous. Things have definitely changed recently. Off to find a better Barber that cares about their customers and fixing their mistakes.

My husband showed up at 5:30 on August 10 for a hair cut. He drove 45 minutes from work to be there and as soon as he went in, they immediately turned him away. They close at 6 so he was there well before they closed. Freda said that because there were people sitting there which would put them past 6. We asked her how is a customer supposed to know if 10 people are sitting there or no one sitting there in order for them to take him. She just kept saying they closed at 6. We get it, but the customer was there before you closed. The signs say closed at 6, not “we don’t accept customers after 5”. Customer service has gone down in the entire world. Since when does a business turn a customer away before closing? If you want to leave by 6, then the sign says we stop accepting new clients at 5 or 5:30. There is no such sign. When I asked for Freda’s name, she told me and then said “I am the manager” very snotty. I was raised where I don’t care if you are a manager, janitor, or CEO, you treat everyone the same. She was so proud as a manager to turn customers away. Just outrageous. She maybe needs to take a step down from manager and the time scales need to be reviewed.

Very poor experience today. A bitter stylist named Anna very purposely mis-cut my lines and lengths today. She was upset that I had politely asked to wait for the next available stylist, as the ‘free’ one was clearly sniffling and possibly sick (little kids and very pregnant wife). Unwearable cut completely on purpose. Totally unprofessional conduct. I was shocked…politely sat there and realized what she was doing. Rather than confront and argue, it was obvious that I wouldn’t be treated fairly by this ‘stylist’. Super toxic day this lady was clearly having (she said she was a mother of 4). I paid and left without saying a thing. Drove directly to a different haircut chain. First spiteful haircut I’ve ever received. I was super polite at every step, she has a nasty approach to customer service.

I received a crazy haircut (not one to complain) at Supercuts (location not given), a week before going to Sport Clips. I needed take a chance on Sport Clips to straighten out my hair. Not only Brittany Brat correct the bad cut, but she did so without leaving removing massive amounts of hair. She fixed the style, which is not an easy job since it was so messed up when I arrived.
