I prefer family owned businesses because they usually provide better services to compete with big corporations and franchises, and that quality of work earned my loyalty. And then, I received a coupon for a free haircut at Sport Clips on facebook. This promo got me curious because I have never been to Sport Clips before. I was greeted by front desk host Taylor. There were only two people working there, the other one was busy servicing a client. After a two minute wait, Taylor beckoned me and told me she was going to be my stylist. Apprehensive, I told her to start with clippers, #4 on the sides and back, not too high, and blend up using scissors, not clippers, and trim the top. She executed my instructions to a T that I became comfortable enough to watch TV in front of me. She was confidently meticulous with her work and she obviously enjoys what she’s doing. The place was neat and very clean, even the countertops in front of the me were uncluttered and arranged systematically like one would with a dining table on Thanksgiving.
