I’ll start this review with a warning that I’m fairly picky about my hair. I like it cut and styled in a very specific manner. Monica was able to understand EXACTLY what I wanted from the get-go, and I’ve been going to her ever since I moved to McHenry. Dead on accurate cut/styling for an UNBEATABLE price. As long as she is there, I’ll never take my business elsewhere!

Skye has been cutting my hair for awhile now. She is the only one I will go to. She has been able to give me a fade better than anyone I have ever went to. Really enjoy the conversations as well. They were busy on the Saturday before Easter. The lead person still managed to cheerfully greet incoming customers and guide them to the online appointment kiosk. My stylist, Sandra, listened to my request for a neat trim look. She was quick and and skillful. She neatened up my beard, eyebrows and gave me an appearance that got more than the usual Gor your haircut comments.

Really this review isn’t for the store as a whole, this review is really for Skye my stylist. She is absolutely fantastic. Not only does she take her time with your cut but she makes sure you are looking and feeling your best. I followed Skye from her old barber shop because she is simply the best. Customer service these days is a lost art and Skye taps into the meaning of excellent customer service every time I come to her with our great chats and I will NOT go to anyone else.

Critical: QualityWent in for a haircut and I was seen by Skye. I told her how I usually style my hair and even showed a picture. I asked for a crew cut. In the picture, I usually have my sides trimmed and my bangs styled up. She didn’t even bother to examine the picture and just took a quick glance at it. She ended up cutting almost all of my hair off including the bangs. The haircut I got from her was NOT what I asked for at all, even in the picture I showed. My girlfriend called the salon, told them about my experience, and the only thing they can do is have me come back and fix my hair. However, there is not much to fix because most of my hair was cut off. Skye was not very attentive and does not know how to cut hair. I walked out very disappointed.
