I checked in and asked for the MVP Treatment. I got a horrible hair cut and bad shave from some lady who could barely understand English. I asked to have my beard cut to a Gotee which she didn’t know what that was and left sideburns. I asked her not to touch my mustache or the bottom of my Gotee and she tried to cut them. Then I asked to shave the top and sides of my head and not to touch the bac at all. She took a bare razor to the back and sides, and ony cut an eighth of an inch off the top! I could not see exactly what she was doing because I had my glasses off for the cut. Only reason I went there because I am in town from another state on a family matter and needed a haircut, and beard cut badly. Next time I come I know not to ever go there. I wish I had gotten her name.

I should have chosen “service not listed” because what we got was not a haircut- it was an exercise in idiocy. Young man has apparently never heard of a shoulder or was getting his eyes closed practice hours in. Where did these layers come from when we asked for a blunt trim? What are these scraggly long pieces? When asked what he thought “shoulder length” meant he didn’t even have the decency to acknowledge that he had made a mistake. We left without even finishing the massage and hot towel portion because it was clear these people were not trustworthy and honestly we just wanted out of there. I know everyone gets bad haircuts sometimes, but seriously where did he get his license? Appalling.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityExtremely last minute cut for an event this weekend but due to my situation being on a hair system – I needed someone that can provide service on men like myself who has expensive hair attachments. Matt at this location is the main guy you need to trust on your cuts. He went above and beyond on what I asked and the style I wanted (cut only-no beard). Extremely last minute cut for an event this weekend but due to my situation being on a hair system – I needed someone that can provide service on men like myself who has expensive hair attachments. Matt at this location is the main guy you need to trust on your cuts. He went above and beyond on what I asked and the style I wanted (cut only-no beard). Critical: ProfessionalismThe lady manager at this location is extremely rude and impolite. I had a hair cut and needed some readjustments. The girl Tina who cut my hair on 8/19 was very nice and had told me that if you need any adjustments we will do it, no problem. So the next day 8/20, I called them up and told them that I needed the back to be rounded properly, the gentleman who picked up my call said no problem and told me to come in. I went back and when I told the lady manager the reason for my revisit, she didn’t seem happy and said she doesn’t do any adjustments. Another employee named Lisa said she didn’t mind doing it. So we got started and Lisa looked my hair and agreed that it needed some adjustments. She was very nice and started cutting my hair. After sometime the lady manager came and started telling me that I should know that sportclips is mainly for men and they don’t like to do womens cuts and specially she hates doing womens cuts because of people like me who come back and it take up more time. Also she told me that layers (the hair style) I did costs more. I was shocked because I do not expect professional acting like this. I told her that Tina never mentioned anything like that the previous day when she cut my hair. I was upset but I gave Lisa tips for helping me out. The girl Tina who cut my hair on 8/19 was very nice and had told me that if you need any adjustments we will do it, no problem. I’ve been going to Sport Clips for over a year now, I’ve seen a lot of reviews on here on the company itself, but the fact is that every location is going to be different. This location is exceptional. Friendly, professional service, the first location I’ve seen with a large monitor displaying a customer queue so you know exactly in what order, and how long before you get a cut. The location is new, but the barbers are experienced, great cut, and the VIP treatment means you’re sitting on a massage chair with a hot towel on your face while someone washes your hair. It’s awesome. Very satisfied customer, give them a try.

I was helped by Savannah and it was the perfect cut. I got so many compliments even weeks later!
