Despite it being their first day back open, they had the routine in place and the visit had a smooth flow. The waiting list app and notifications got me there two minutes early, and I waited less than 5 minutes for my cut. The stylist cut it exactly how I wanted it, and protocols for pandemic safety were followed by all. Thank you for opening back up and being so prepared to deal with the rush of people who wanted haircuts today!

Great haircut. I hate going to new barbers but I figured I give this place a try because my usual barber is going to be out a while. So first thing barely a wait. I signed in and sat for maybe 5 minutes. Next is the thing that really got me. I told her how I like my hair cut, now it was a change of style and a lot was being cut. When this happens I feel like most places they ask you how you like your hair cut and they nod and just give you a shorter version of what you have. However the main thing is not only did she listen when I told her I wanted it buzzed with a three on the side she didn’t just say ok, she took the time to tell me that her three is shorter than most and made sure that’s what I wanted. I also don’t talk much do during my haircut and she never tried to force conversation which is also a plus for me. All in all it was great and I think I’m going to keep going back there.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueIf I could give zero stars I would. I DO NOT RECOMMEND coming to get a haircut at sports clips. I called ahead to try to do an appointment and the lady told me it had to be done online. Which was fine but she spent 10 mins – literally 10 mins and I know this because I took a phone call while he went for her to cut my fathers hair. It is so uneven and choppy that it looks like a child took cutters to his hair. (If I remember before I take him to another place to fix this botched job, I will post pictures). This is the 2nd time he’s come out looking crazy, and once my fiance. Edward Scissorhands could do a better job than the people who work here. Will NEVER go back.If I could give zero stars I would. It’s real easy to find right on route nine! My boyfriend insists on going here he followed Holly from another haircutters location. Always a good experience and not too pricey! They’ll even do a hot towel and shave if you want !

Time to find a new cutter. I went to Sam in Brick and then she moved to Freehold. It’s a long way for a quick cut but she is that good! I always call ahead to find if she is in. Today I called and found out she was in til 3 so I said I was on my way over. Got there at 2:30 and she just left. I’m not driving that far again. I’ll find another place to go locallly — and it won’t be Sports Clips!

This location is a family favorite for not only the husband, but all three of our boys. The staff is always friendly and professional, the salon is always clean, they cater lovely even to children with treats, and they are skilled at hair.
