My boys and I needed haircuts and this place is right up the road from our new house. When I called to make an appointment I was told that they accept walk-ins only which is perfect! We drove there and there was a sign on the door that said cash only so we had to go to the nearest gas station for an ATM but it was no big deal. My kids absolutely loved the hairdressers there and the haircuts that they had gotten 🙂 I just needed a brush up on my undercut and they did a fantastic job! It came to $53 and I gave $5 tip for each of our cuts. We will definitely be going back!

Didn’t get any services. Arrived at my check in time, text update said stylist would be ready for me in 15 minutes. Fine, no biggie. The screen on the wall then says 24 minutes. I asked if that was accurate, because I was on a bit of a tight schedule. I was nothing but smiling and polite. She said 10 minutes max. Great. Almost 30 minutes later, after watching her help the other stylist who was failing at her client’s cut, I said I have to go, I am out of time. She says “oh, so sorry” in a very snarky tone, and turned her back to me. I said “what’s the point of the check in messages?”, and got no response. I said “well, you just lost a customer today”. Still no response, still showing me her back. So totally unprofessional, frankly I was stunned. SportClips is fine, I have been to more than one, but I suggest any other location than Fairmount. Drove 1/4 mile down the same road and was in and out of SuperCuts with a great trim in 20 minutes (exact same price). I was late for my next appointment, but at least I had my haircut. This was my third time going to this SportClips, but app dumped, won’t be back. Bummer, I did like they are open Mondays, and my first 2 cuts were fine.

Called to make a reservation. They would not take a reservation over the phone! I was given an option of just showing up…. and taking my chances on when I could be taken. Apparently one has to download thier app and use THAT to make reservations….. Just what we all need is more apps and passwords… I went to another local shop.. I went on thier site and made a appt. and I didn’t have to download an app btw.

My son is 2.5 with a lot of hair. He hates getting it cut, and cries/screams/jerks his head away the entire time. I dread getting his haircut but we took him to Ana today at Sport Clips and she was fast, efficient and kind. He said afterward that he really liked her, and said she was nice…he’s never said that about any stylist. We will be back for sure- and tipping well like always because they deserve it, but also because my son is a wild animal in the chair and Ana definitely earned it- she’s the best.

I had been having a difficult time finding anyone who could cut my hair the way my favourite barber of many years had been, but due to both our conflicting schedules can no longer visit. That was until I met Anna, who took the time to listen to what I was looking for and was the first stylist in many years who understood it and understood it perfectly. I’ll happily go back to Sport Clips in Fairmount and ask for Anna specifically, as they give you that option when you first walk in the door.
