i’ve been going to this sports clips for 4 years now. never have had a bad experience. i went in today and a lady named mona butchered my hair. first off all she didn’t put the paper around my neck before putting the gown on. she then says that i cannot get the type of fade that i’ve always gotten because it will give me “muffin top”. i said that’s fine i guess just please don’t touch the top i’m growing it out. the first thing she does, without clipping up the long hair on top, takes a comb and shaver to blend the top to the sides (which is not what i wanted i have an undercut). after knowing my hair is butchered i let her continue just so it would be evened out. she wound up taking an inch off the top. after the haircut she never gave me a mirror so i could see the top. it was awful.

I’m pretty specific about how I like my hair to be cut. It’s also hard to screw it up. That said…the girl that cut my hair this time took a total of 8-9 minutes to do what others take 20-25 minutes to do. I was so frustrated I tipped her and left because I know she’s trying to make a living…but come on. Slow down, listen to the customer, ask questions. I always say, “I don’t want my hair to look like a mushroom.” Today, it’s a big uneven mushroom.

Extremely unhappy with the system. I came in at 11:15am on Sunday June 13th and put my name into the system. I was told it would be a 90 minute wait and I would also receive a text. So that I could run errands. When I got back within my time my name had been bumped off the wait list, and I never received a text. Now I will have to have a shaggy haircut for my Family pictures.
