Critical: Punctualityin line with other 1 star reviews, this particular sports clips location is terrible with customer service.I checked in at approximately 12:40 on Sunday, and I was told to wait in my car as, per covid restrictions, they did not have an indoor waiting area. it was 35 degrees outside, but my girlfriend was getting her nails done down the road so I went inside and waited for them to call me.they did text me at 12:55 to tell me that a stylist would be ready within 15 minutes, and to “come on in”. so I walked back down there, and was told to wait for the sanitation solution to set in, and “wait right outside the store”.I waited, outside in the cold, for about 20 minutes, as customers were both coming and going. at 1:20, I was told that was “next in line”, and to wait right outside.at 1:30, yet another stylist came and told me, and 1 other customer who had only been waiting 10 minutes, that they just needed a couple minutes for the sanitation to set in, yet again.finally, at 1:40, a full hour after I had checked in, I was still told to give them some time, as they had to “switch tools”. I will admit, I lost my politeness after waiting outside in the cold for 40 minutes, as instructed by them.my anger and frustration was met with sassiness and attitude from the stylist, quoted saying “first of all, welcome to COVID” as if the virus was the issue. then saying “you did not have to wait outside”. I was specifically told to wait outside, and in fact one of the customers during my waiting period was also waiting outside for the sanitation procedure and within 10 minutes got pulled inside.like other reviews have stated from over the years, you won’t catch the virus here, and I am sure that given the opportunity these people will cut your hair great. I have never had a terrible hair-cutting experience at any sports clips location across the nation. however, the customer service, text notification system, and overall complete lack of communication with customers will ensure I never again return to this location, and persuade others to seek out other establishments in the future that communicate with their customers effectively.
