The customer service is good but the consistency on quality is hit or miss, but unfortunately it’s like that at every hair place these past 2 years. So my boyfriend stops by to get his neck trimmed, as he proceeds to go to the chair the manager Dana tells him that he needs to go to his own stylist. Keep in mind we have been going to sports clips to get his neck trimmed for years and never have been told anything like that. So she continues to trim his neck, as she is doing it she keeps repeating herself saying you know you know what I mean? I mean you need to go to your own stylist. Really for a neck trim? She made him feel so uncomfortable all she kept doing what repeating herself, I mean if she didn’t want to do her job she could have said so and we would have went somewhere else! I mean you’re a manager and you treat your customers that way?

This was my first time going to this business and I had a great experience. I appreciate the option to check in online so you don’t have to wait inside the business if you don’t want to. I also like that it gives you an idea of how long your wait will be as well. My stylist was Angela and I could not have been happier with my experience. She was extremely helpful and communicated with me the entire time so I ended up with the exact haircut I had been wanting. I have shorter hair and tend to get what are considered more “men’s cuts” and because I’m female other hair stylists have been afraid to give me the cut I actually want. Not Angela. All I had to do was show her a few pictures and she gave me what I wanted. I also appreciate that she asked for my input throughout the haircut. I will definitely be going back.

Critical: QualityI have been taking my kids here for years now. We always have a good experience. Today bonnie was cutting two of my kids hair. They weren’t difficult and there wasn’t a wait. She botched on of my son’s cut and wasn’t even looking at him while she was cutting it and my other son came out with razor burn and not what he asked for. I normally and not picky and never complain because it’s just kids hair cuts but today was the worst. As a special education teacher I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Douglasville Sports Clips recognizes the sensory sensitivities of people with Autism. The 2nd Wednesday of every month is their “Sensory Welcoming Wednesday” where they alter their business model to better serve those with disabilities. For example, there are more staff on hand, they turn down the volume of the TVs and they don’t use the noisy vacuums. Kudos to the Douglasville Sports Clips!!
