Just took my son on the way out of town. He decided to trim the front of his hair and it looked horrible. We were in and out quickly and his haircut looks great! I only wish I had remembered to take note of the stylist’s name so I can request her when we go back next time. I’d appreciate it if it s possible to get this info. It was at the Dobbin Center (Columbia, MD) location at 6:35 9/23.

I went I went in at 2:45 for a haircut they said it would be an hour I had a 5:00 a doctor appointment so I figured i’d have no problem making it. An hour and 20 minutes later I was still third in line and had to leave to make my doctor appointment i’ve been there twice before and received reasonable service but this was ridiculous

I’ve been bringing my 4 boys here since 2015. I love the ladies. They are patient and make sure we understand how the hair will get cut. Then when the kids got old enough to tell them what they wanted the ladies were just wonderful. No matter the wait the kids would wait. They don’t want to go to anyone else. When I asked they told me I had to wait 10 more minutes and they calling walk ins before me. The lady was really disrespectful and unprofessional. I have been going to Sports Clips locations all over the country, but this was my first visit here.. I hope this stylist was new because she definitely needs a little more guidance. She was very timid. She was very nice, but her clippers didn’t seem sharp enough because they got hung in my hair a few times. I got the MVP, and when she went to wash my hair and head massage, I could barely tell she was even touching my head. No pressure, no circular motion, not even sure if the shampoo got moved around my head. Then when she went to do the back massager, same result, I could barely feel the device on my back and seemed very short in timing. Again, she was very nice, haircut was Ok, but they need to give her a little more instruction on the other portions of a Sports Clip visit. The overall experience is why I pay what I pay for a haircut.

I visit this location monthly. I have been pleased with the quality of haircuts and professionalism. However; today’s visit was troublesome. The CDC and the Governor lifted the mask mandate, especially for vaccinated individuals, which I am. I entered the facility with my mask off. I was greeted and immediately asked to put my mask on. I asked why are they requiring masks with mandate lifted. I was told that none of the stylists were vaccinated. I said that was something they were going to have to remedy and was told no. A client in the chair next to me asked his stylist about the masks and her explanation was that they wore the masks because of close contact with the client. It is the individuals choice whether they want to be vaccinated. If they choose not to be vaccinated, they can wear their mask. As the client, I am not the one that should be inconvenienced.
